I believe there is a difference between gender and sex. Sex is anatomical whereas gender is psychological. Normally the two are congruent, but Chaz Bono and Caitlyn Jenner suggest this is not always the case.

Don't know about that.

I always thought Cher had a bit much base in her voice and Sonny wasn't the most manly specimen.
