ECT Are you a Darby follower?

Chafer was a disciple of Scofield, and Scofield was a disciple of Darby.

So, basically the Dallas Theological Seminary was founded upon, as is, nothing but a place where the teachings of John Nelson Darby are taught.

They knew that dispensationalism was looked at as heretical by main stream Christianity... the plotted together when they created Dallas Theological Seminary to suppress the names of what they were actually teaching and knew it would take a couple generations for it to take hold and spread because it was so appealing to people that did not know the history of the faith. Their deception worked.

Your church is the worst example of deception

People are missing the point. We are called Darby followers as if we were passive victims of brainwashing. MAD didn't seek me out; I was looking for it. Or rather, I knew I had found it when i heard if. I decided what I wanted to believe.

What were you seeking for? Could this be it:

After obedience—what?

"And straightway He constrained His disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side".… Mark 6:45–52.

"We are apt to imagine that if Jesus Christ constrains us, and we obey Him, He will lead us to great success. We must never put our dreams of success as God’s purpose for us; His purpose may be exactly the opposite. We have an idea that God is leading us to a particular end, a desired goal; He is not. The question of getting to a particular end is a mere incident. What we call the process, God calls the end.

What is my dream of God’s purpose? His purpose is that I depend on Him and on His power now. If I can stay in the middle of the turmoil calm and unperplexed, that is the end of the purpose of God. God is not working towards a particular finish; His end is the process—that I see Him walking on the waves, no shore in sight, no success, no goal, just the absolute certainty that it is all right because I see Him walking on the sea. It is the process, not the end, which is glorifying to God.

God’s training is for now, not presently. His purpose is for this minute, not for something in the future. We have nothing to do with the afterwards of obedience; we get wrong when we think of the afterwards. What men call training and preparation, God calls the end.

God’s end is to enable me to see that He can walk on the chaos of my life just now. If we have a further end in view, we do not pay sufficient attention to the immediate present; but if we realize that obedience is the end, then each moment as it comes is precious."

Calvinism is one of the worst plagues on the Christian landscape.

Calvinism dates back to Augustine (around 400 AD).... John Calvin just put it in plain English.

Dispensationism dates back to 1720.. and thats it. It's a new age belief, dreamed up by simple minded people who could not see the entire picture of scripture so they had to compartmentalize it.

I really hate to burst your bubble, but, you don't KNOW what you're talking about. Don't feel too bad though you're probably in the majority of "false doctrine believers" here on TOL.

I know exactly what I am talking about... it seems you have been thoroughly deceived.

Read the entire link I posted above... I dare you!

What will you do if I don't? Place a curse on me? :rotfl:

No.. just pray for you.. as I do most people on this site. So many people lost in the devils deception.

I took about 10 years to get my Uncle out of his dispensational nightmare... I thank God often that he did so before he passed away.

Looks as if you wasted your time. After all, you took him away from the truth and led him astray. I wouldn't be bragging about that. Perhaps, you were a good salesman or maybe he just agreed with you in order for you to stop bugging him for years? Either way, I feel bad for him.

Don't pray for me, I have no interest in becoming a Calvinist. So, leave me out of your prayers, I don't need them. I already know the True Gospel.
