Not sure. I think Trump is a mix. The 'establishment' clearly isn't supportive of his campaign and he's not part of the political ruling elite. He's coming from outside in that way. But that may not necessarily indicate that much. The reason behind that lack of support might be mostly because of his brashness and their fear that he's going to alienate people who may otherwise vote Republican. When it comes to actual policy positions he may not be far off. And if you're talking about funding the establishment then I wouldn't doubt that Trump has used his money to work with various 'elites' as you call them. But Trump is a business man. He's said that he works with and funds all sides. I don't think Trump can easily be pinned down. Which should probably worry his supporters. Does he truly stand for anything? It seems like he's flip-flopped on a few things during his campaign already.
