Jesus didn't think like that, nor his apostles!
Luke 11
But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
Matthew 7
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Nor Peter
Peter 4:17
For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Acts 5
Then Peter and the [other] apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men
Paul in romans 6
Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
James in James 1
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Jesus' entire ministry was under the old covenant when the Law was still in effect. He introduced the gospel at this time but he was still under the law so his statements need to read in this context. After his resurrection he gave council to the seven churches of Revelation and there is not one mention of keeping the law.
