The artwork is obviously quite simple and rough, yet it amazes me how perfectly the cartoonist captured the apt appearance of a mild, sneaky, smug satisfaction on the wife's face. That sort of phenomenon I see from time to time in cartoon images always kinda makes me wonder if the guy who drew it might also be capable of doing the sort of drawing we might think of as approaching photo-realism.
