The "peace" is the reconciliation through faith/trust. That continues into a incomprehensible end with: "sowing to the Spirit" (Galatians 6:8); becoming "slaves to God" (Romans 6:22); living "according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:5); and abiding in Christ (John 15:4).
We have responsibility; we take no credit. It is all by Him, His power, His love, His grace, His sacrifice, His blood, His mercy, His Spirit.
He is not a Robot Maker. He will not be mocked.
Sounds to me like true Christianity and full of the Holy Spirit.
