5 Ways to Deny the Gospel

# 1. To deny that Jesus is the savior of the whole world is to deny the Gospel, 1 John 2:2. The key to understanding the Gospel is to believe that Jesus has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15 and in doing so has reconciled the whole world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:19.

#2. Predestination is a denial of the Gospel. If one has been predestinated then they don't really need Christ or his Gospel. Predestination according to some is a declaration from God that "Some Certain Persons" are saved. If you have been declared to be saved then you don't need Christ or his Gospel.

#3. To say that works, baptism, repentance or anything else that one might do merits salvation is a denial of the Gospel, Romans 3:20. Any religious thing that one does is a work of the law. "By the works of the law no one will be justified in his sight".

#4. To say that one is justified by keeping the commandments is a denial of the Gospel. The Bible teaches that all men are sinners, even saved men, Romans 3:10, "There is NONE righteous, no, not one. All fall short of the glory of God, Romans 3:23.

#5. To say that men are justified some other way than by the doing and the dying of Jesus is a denial of the Gospel. Jesus is our reconciler, "To declare at this time his righteousness: that he might be just and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26. Jesus and Jesus alone is the reconciler and justifier of lost sinners.

To deny the Gospel is to deny that one has faith in Christ and his Gospel. Without faith in Christ and his Gospel no one will be saved. Paul said, "The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation" Romans 1:16. No Gospel, means no salvation. The Gospel makes it possible for us to be justified by faith apart from the works of the law, Galatians 3:10.

"Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to His own flesh, will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit Will from the Spirit reap eternal life." Galatians 6:7-8

No one is reconciled to God, forgiven and made clean a vessel fit to house God's presence other than by the gift and Grace and blood of the most precious lamb. This gift is to be cherished, and sown to. Man has responsibility to not mock the precious blood of the lamb.

Yep, and that reconciliation is offered to any and all in the whole world who will but believe the Gospel of grace, not the demonic farce that is TULIP.

The fatal flaw of Pate's false "gospel," as has already been decidedly demonstrated here.

End of thread.

Catholics don't deny the Gospel, they just don't believe that it exist.

So they are busy, busy, busy, trying to re-habilitate their old Adamic nature that was crucified with Christ, Romans 6:6.

It is like trying to breath new life into a corpse.

You have already been categorically refuted in Post #16 above.

And Christ died for the sins of the whole world.

"That he by the grace of God should taste death for everyone" Hebrews 2:9.

Those Christ lived and died for have kept all Gods Commandments by Him and shall enter into Eternal life as promised Matt 19:17 !
