Tasers are torture devices. From Wiki:
Tasers rely on pain compliance, especially when used in "Drive Stun" mode, and are thus preferred by some law enforcement over non-Taser stun guns and other electronic control weapons. They can inflict a lot of pain without doing lasting harm--except in those cases where they do cause lasting harm, or death.
ahh, for the good old days when cops carried nightsticks and all you had to deal with was cracked skulls and concussions
no wait - tasers were introduced to be a more humane non-lethal weapon than nightsticks
never mind
I do have to say that even though I believe the officer could have done many things to avoid the escalation and to calm the situation, that at the point of rising and striking the officer the kid should have known he could be killed. Nobody can resist cuffs and then turn and attack a cop and come out ok.
So, my final stance is the cop could have not kicked the phone and prevented the struggle, but the shooting is justified and expected because of the punk's attack.
Well there ya' go, the "punk" is dead.
Wanna put that on his grave stone?
I have argued for the kid, but he made a conscience decision to hit the cop in the face, not once, not twice, but multiple times. When was the kid going to stop ?
He became a punk when he started and KEPT swinging. If I was the kid I would have offered my wrists and the "Sirs" would be flying with apologies.
Aah, so you saw indisputable evidence that this 17 yr old hit the officer multiple times, did you?
Where?
But hey, the "punk" is dead now anyway, right?
That is an unseemly comment.
Typical liberal sneer.

I'm not a liberal.
I know, hard to believe, right?
But the fact of the matter is that from what i have seen and heard, this officer killed this 17 yr old in cold blood, as a matter of fact, one might call it "overkill".
Did i miss something that shows this kid endangering this officer even a "hint" of endangering this officer?
This kid was unarmed, wasn't he?
Yes, but not until after the failed taser and kicking the phone (kicked phone first), I watched another video from the body cam that ok doser posted yesterday evening and it happened so fast but the cop was justified. But maybe not the final head shot.
a final head shot? Is that because the boy was bound and determined to kill this officer with all those other previous bullets in him?
I'll watch the video.
Thanks.
If i'm wrong i will apologize.
It's still regrettable that this 17 yr old boy is dead.
How tragic.
Ummmmm...do you have a link to the video?
i think it's in post 631
The CNN video shows the kid attacking the officer in an upright position for a few frames when they slowed it down.I'm not a liberal.

The CNN video shows the kid attacking the officer in an upright position for a few frames when they slowed it down.
The officer said his gun jammed and he had to clear a round before he fired the seven shots. The bullet he cleared was found in the place it should have been found.
The officers holster was full of snow from lying on his back off the road where the kid allegedly got on top of him.
The cops body camera didn't shut off, it fell off in their struggle. The body camera didn't record the sound of 3 of the gun shots, but the kids cell phone with was still recording did. It all matches up with what the body camera did record.
The backup the cop requested arrived 30 seconds after the shooting. That doesn't leave time for your conspiracy to take place.
Pictures and the prosecutors report shows damage to the cops face.
All the evidence says the event happened the way Frost reported.
You missed several hints.
the video in post #631?

No, the video I linked to from CNN somewhere between post 10 and 600.the video in post #631?
The conspiracy where the kid never got off the ground and attacked Frost. So Frost must have moved the body, planted the bullet, bashed his own face against something, and filled his holster full of snow. What "conspiracy" are you referring to?
