My brother in law really missed a dad. That was Gone all of a sudden at a very Young age. As I felt bad that He lost his father at a young age. Really wished that he had A big male figure in his home. His late mom now, had to be Both the dad and the mom. Growing up at home.

It also all has to Do with my brother in law. As his father died at a very young Age and that he, didn't grow. Up with much male authority Or much of a father figure. In his life, like we did our father. And my brother is trying to Do with his own kids.

They really don't appreciate the things that they. Have in life, the smaller things. Most of all, as my nephews On my brother and his wife's side. Were born prematurely. And that they appreciate life. Despite the odds against them. It could be worse. But they really don't know any better.

Sometimes my sister Who isn't healthy at all. Really has had a hard time Controlling all of her kids. There are four of them. As they need some kind Of disicipline. My mom brought Them a shirt with a Christian shirt On it. And not one of them. Said thank you at all! That is so sad!:(

Don't get me wrong as I love my nephews. And love my niece on my Sister and her husband's side. Because I think that they Are really cute. But sadly The sad part is that, They are spoiled. And don't Enjoy the smaller things in life.

Sacrifices come in small And little things. And that despite Cutting back on our budget And not putting stuff out like Devotions and all of that. Really even though the sacrifices Can be tough. They are necessary To keep our church going.

JPPT1974's Thurs Thoughts 6/4/09: We are cutting back at Our church on downsizing. As I love looking at devotions. But due to our church budget. We are now also victims. Of the economy and so a bunch Of devotions. Had to be cut. Which is sad. But must be necessary!

Cleansing from our sins and forgiveness only comes. From repentance of our sins. Either past sins or sins that We are or unlikely to commit. Regardless, we are to always Ask for repentance of Our sins no matter, how big Or small the sin is!

We need repentance. Without it, we are far, far Separated from God. As we need to become More closer to Him. And repent of our sins. Ask for cleansing and For forgivness my friend. Because we aren't perfect.

God loves us and that He loves us the way that we are. Regardless of the sin and Regardless of what we do. All we need to do is just Repent and admit that we. Are sorry for our sins. As we do fall short of His grace And for His glory!

God's ways remember aren't our ways. As His thoughts aren't our thoughts. Because He works differently. He is sinless and perfect. While we are not that. Because God knows how To run things. And knows What we need to do.

When you envy people, that is one of the seven. Great and deadly sins. When I say great, I mean Really not good. There is a difference Between a good great and a bad one. Because you should never envy A person over something. As that could really cost You something!

Heroes are in the eyes and laws of God. Because God really loves It when heroes do their Work quietly and not brag about it. They are like the ones that Really give it all to the Lord. Or ones that are team players. Really those are the REAL, REAL heroes!

Heroes are thought of As the John Wayne type. Or the ones that fought in the war. Or a police officer, firefighter, etc. But think of those heroes. That are in the background. Or don't like the spotlight. As they are trying to Do their jobs. And not Get recognized as little as possible.

As we celebrate Memorial Day, let us remember those. That are fighting for us. Or have fought and their families. As they have dealt with this. Going through a lot and making Their own sacrifices. In order to protect our liberties. As well as protect our freedom. Continuing to pray for them. God...

Heroes all come in all Shapes and sizes. But sometimes We overlook those heroes. That God looks at. Even though We are ignoring those heroes. In waiting, God isn't ignoring them. You see, He knows a hero. When He sees one. And knows What to expect of a hero!

God sees heroes in An unlikely place. And that they Are people that we wouldn't think Of being heroes. We think of the Strong and mighty macho and Quiet type. But we overlook Those that are trying to mind Their own business and trying. To make their own living. See where God is getting at?

Joshua and the Isreal people thought that. They would Be looked upon as nuts. Marching through the wall. Or around it, as they may Looked like fools on the outside. But on the inside. They knew They were doing God's way. And that they were doing His will. In order to get to where they needed to be!

But after the days that they marched all around. The wall began to fall. Just as the Lord predicted That if they kept their end of the bargin. By marching the wall. As the wall fell and that The Isreallites finally. Could claim their land. God does keep His promises!

People that were heading the wall, and in the way. Of Joshua and the Isreal people. Were laughing and thinking that God wasn't invincible. And despite all of this. Joshua and the Isreal people Kept marching on and doing. What God was telling them to do!
