Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

It's not at all. You would think perhaps that an attorney would know what the rule of law actually is, but nope. The rule of law is a political situation where, as in America, the law, and no man, is king. The rule of law is one of the liberal institutions which protects justice, in a moral...

Colorado Springs Shooting Suspect Faces Murder, Hate Crime Charges

He had to load a magazine. I believe I remember him saying that he was literally dropping rounds because he was already adrenalized, you really don't want in a pressure situation to have to fumble around with loose rounds trying to insert them into your mags. He was in the right place at the...

Colorado Springs Shooting Suspect Faces Murder, Hate Crime Charges

The mass murderer was wearing body armor iirc. In fact unless I'm misremembering, he targeted the murderer where the armor wasn't deliberately. Without the precision of the AR he wouldn't have been as able to hit the soft spot.

New Hampshire has the laxest gun laws in the world. Yet they're green! Can't be true.

tbh I forget what those numbers mean, but if Condition 1 means one in the chamber with the hammer back and the thumb safety engaged, then yes.

AR15's fire .22 caliber rounds, just not "the" .22 (which is a .22 LR for "long rifle"). Anna probably has a Ruger 10/22, easily the most popular rifle chambered in the .22 LR.

    Ukraine Crisis

From Anna's post: They're objectively weapons of war. Less you think the shotties were for a Thanksgiving turkey hunt? And this is all in the context of Democrats constantly beating the drum of needing to get "weapons of war off our streets."

    Guns!

It is definitely an additional duty that you voluntarily take upon yourself. You are responsible for all discharges. That's work; and that takes work. You have to be conscious of your weaponry every moment, even when you're asleep. When you're not on the same premises as all your weapons...

Income Taxation - Just or Unjust? (Alternatives?)

Regressive. Regressive. If you had said "super yachts" that's not regressive. California is one of the most paternalistic states in the nation. Does CA also tax gas? Regressive. Tobacco? Regressive. This is naked paternalism.

    Is believing/faith a work ?

It makes sense in this regard: The Gospel is sown everywhere like seed. But the condition of the soil is not up to the soil, but up to God. At any rate, it's out of the hands of the one sowing the Good News. The sower should just sow, and not worry about the why's and the how's. I think...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

In your opinion only: you'll never be able to cite a Calvinist agreeing with you, which makes this characterization of yours partisan. Logically prior to that, Calvinism claims that it will never happen. And why it will never happen is the next logical sequence: because we are the natural man...

Paul did not write Hebrews; we do not know who did

Nope. There's only one layer, same as it always was. Bishops are the only layer, and they are middle managers, the lot of them, to translate their office into modern terms. Even the pope is just a middle manager. Priests are the bishops' assistants, this corresponds to the Biblical office of...

    Is believing/faith a work ?

Incapable is your word. It's not about capability but whether or not it will ever happen, and it will never happen. Is an animal categorically incapable of driving a car or learning words? No, but will the animal ever actually do those things? Not in 13.8 billion years, not unless they get...
