    The Religion of Blinding Bluster

I think we're on the same side on this issue Anna, which is always nice. It is always interesting when science corroborates principles that Jesus and the Bible taught us,* such as "do unto others," which is a terrific strategy for protecting yourself from making too big a mistake with the...

    Robb Elementary School shooting

It's the suicidality. Every school shooter was suicidal. Suicides account for two-thirds of gun deaths.

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

What, is your problem Arthur. I've demonstrated I never did nor implied what you're accusing me of. You've got a hair across your ... and I don't know why. You're welcome in the thread, and you're even welcome to continue without justification to attack me, but I honestly do not know what...

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

That's nice. Your regime and Australia's regime is known to have confiscated tons of civilian owned "assault weapons". And then of course followed up with complete bans on any of you all ever being able to own one again. It wasn't an equation. Perhaps that's your problem. Maybe read what I...

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

We should. America is no longer an "experiment." Our constitution and regime has stood the test of time By now it's everybody else who's still "experimenting." Yep.

    Lifting thread

Canonical deadlift 250 LBS 1. 5, 3 rnr (pre-light-headed-ness experienced, drank some powdered protein plus sugar after set) 2. 5, 1 rnr 3. 5, 1 rnr (surprised me, I thought I'd only get to 4 with 1 rnr) 4. 4, 1 rnr This is the same rep and set pattern I did last week with 240 LBS, except last...

Hopefully we'll deliver them their comeuppance in November. House and Senate. Supermajority? Doubtful. But simple majority.

I'd like to see Mrs. Sarah (nee Huckabee) Sanders as our first lady POTUS.

Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

Then if Justice Thomas isn't impeached, then the real threat to our Constitution is our feckless (Democratic) House. Isn't that what this story means? I'm just taking it at face value.

Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

In what way? History will remember President Trump's two impeachments with the second one's connection to 'J6' but that's it. Congresswoman Cheney will be a footnote.

Fiona Hill: "The president was trying to stage a coup"

Because while it's possible to be bipartisan, if one party resists bipartisanship then both parties will eternally electioneer rather than seek a supermajoritarian position, because if we all agree on a thing then that thing fails to motivate our base or persuade independents from voting for one...

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

America has established otherwise. Two-thirds of gun deaths in the USA are suicides. And as OP failed to mention clearly, many of the gun deaths from mass shootings are also, collateral damage from suicides. Good thing I never stated or implied that then I guess.

    Suicidality and the Second Amendment

I know we tend to be right-leaning here, which means minimal government service, but are there any services our government is already providing that could be expanded, or are there any new services our government could offer citizens who struggle with this horrible problem? The cost of anything...
