    May I ask...

I posted about testimonies and you responded with covenants. Your mystery had been know since Isaiah 11:10..."And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious." And Isaiah...

    The NINE Commandments

That is one way to justify us Gentile's sinning.

Can a Christian lose their salvation

Yep, grace is a gift of God. I am certainly happy I believe it today. Will I still believe it tomorrow ? Will I fall into lethargy and laziness and let the devil sneak into my life ? Will a lackadaisical life-style end up causing me to bow to some teacher of lies ? Will future pain and...

    "Men from James"

Thanks for the video. He didn't try to dismiss anything that was written, or try to insert unwritten thoughts into his presentation...which was mostly just reading the scriptures in Acts 15. It hasn't made me reconsider anything I have posted either, as my view is pretty much just as their's is...

Can a Christian lose their salvation

I don't know if my name is in the book of life, so all I can state is that I am "converted". Do you have away to know if your name is in that book ? I mean, not by being a faithful non-sinner now or anything, but by direct communication with the Keeper of the book of life ?

Can a Christian lose their salvation

I hope I can keep the faith through all I will yet endure. With God's promise that I will never be tempted above what I can handle, though, (1 Cor 10:13), my confidence is high.

Can a Christian lose their salvation

Do you believe there will be a day of judgement wherein the sheep will go one way and the goats another way ? I do, and if my name is found in the book of life, then I will shout "I am saved" ! I need to maintain my conversion though, to get to that point. So do you.

Can a Christian lose their salvation

As salvation won't happen until the day of judgement, the answer is no.

    May I ask...

The scriptures were about testaments. Are you starting a new topic ? The promise had already been made to Abraham. As I look at it some more, the first promise was for an heir, and the second was for a nation. Th second promise came with the circumcision clause. If you don't feel like...

Scriptures that show that Christs death saved a person while in unbelief !

Your response is unwarranted...I think. It looks like you and "borntosurf" are on the same page !

    meaning of Acts 1:5

As the kingdom will be in the universe, they are all one.

    May I ask...

None that I know of. There was however, a law about carrying things, like a bed, on the sabbath. (John 5) If they saw Jesus plucking the "corn", or commanding the man to carry a bed, or heal on the sabbath, they saw the end of the Law. Is that so difficult to understand ? The Acts 15 men...

    May I ask...

Mid Acts is the location of many biblical events. I esteem them all equally. Yep. The apostles knew of the end of the Law before Jesus even died for their sins. Yep. Fleshly over-indulgence, in the honor of dead people. But not by those who have crucified the flesh and walk in the Spirit...

    Different Stuff

That is the "wrong way driver approaching" warning. If the one on the other side goes on, it is a warning of a warp core breech.

It condemns working on the sabbath. The Pharisees couldn't even do that right. Wow ! And it was way before mid Acts ! Where do you see James preaching circumcision or dietary rules? Only OT Israel. As Jesus had fulfilled the pre-sages, it was no longer necessary to practice them. It had...

    May I ask...

Paul's circumcision of Timothy was also mid Acts. Peter witnessed Jesus "parting from the Law" for three years. He didn't keep it secret from the apostles. Christians don't celebrate pagan holidays. Their women don't glorify whoredom with emulation. What the false church did to me is of no...

    May I ask...

You don't think they saw Jesus healing on the sabbath? Of course they were wrong. But did they need to be zealous of the Law? (I'm not talking about the 9 commandments) No. Was there any harm in adhering to that which had been fulfilled? Only in the sense that it was a waste of time. The...

    May I ask...

It is written..."For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood. 19 For...

    meaning of Acts 1:5

The future may hold different results for Jewish believers and Gentile believers, but both Jews and Gentiles are of the same "body" today. Can you be more precise with your question? What would you like me to prove with scripture?

    May I ask...

Do you have a question regarding Paul's judging? He had the right to call a spade a spade. Adulterers, or any sinners, are not in the body of Christ.
