Nah...They are probably being used for breaching tools. ALL weapons have had their genesis in war...All weapons are weapons of war. The question is whose war are we talking about. Go back far enough and a pointy rock is a weapon of war. Fools with buzzwords.

Their performance in the trench warfare of WWI and the jungle warfare of Vietnam not withstanding. The modern soldier pretty much uses the shotgun only as a breaching tool. Just sayin'. 😐
