  • I've close to the breaking point, with health on several occasions, but only to bend. While it may be the same answer you'd get from other TOLer's, it is the best, prayer and Scripture reading the promises, the Sermon the Mount, Psalm 23 because it deals with the Lord and you; bathing the word of God is refreshing, and it brings relief that is far above what we could think or ask.

Remember Paul said, "This one thing I do, forget the past and I move forward" you move forward singly and together as well, and when you do ask the Lord to open your eyes to the understanding of how the Lord is helping you and your wife.
So do we. Mrs Psalmist reads Psalm 91 ever day, she calls it a marvelous covering from the Lord.
We'll be praying for you and these issues and concerns you have, and for your wife as well ... Psalmist and Mrs Psalmist
I've had decent conversations with him about football, but some people have a subject, maybe everyone does, where the matter isn't something that can be discussed...if you're lucky or they're mature enough it won't be a subject of conversation, but with a few more zealous types it becomes an issue to no particular profit for anyone.

I only have a couple of people on ignore. One because he's a little out of control and I'm weary of hearing scumbag or seeing how long it takes him to get into an area so personal the mods have to become involved. The other is sort of a henchman who acts as a personal billboard to try to get around my ignore (I kid you not) so I put her on too...and a third I've had on and off because I think he has a vested issue with me and won't let go, but I also think there's a really good kid in there and the best thing I can do for him is cut him out. Phew.

AMR has 85 on ignore. :chuckle: I almost want to see that list. :)
I'm retired, I never did have age or health discrimination, I did have a bit of job knowledge and ability discrimination which was quickly put rest. Mrs Psalmist and I share the same issues, respiratory; the most expensive med we have is $400 monthly inhaler, the rest is at least reasonable for now. Health wise I have 20% lung function both lungs and a 40% kidney both kidneys; but we can saywe are taken care of in all matters, and we are so thankful. We'll be praying for you.
I think Anti-Semitism is shameful, a reproach against the Creator. I thinks if a "Christian" is ashamed of Israel, the Israelites, Jews, they should state their case and leave TOL. I understand the we can have choices for the good or bad, I don't think there is a middle ground for such hatred. I will defend Israel at every turn, I think as a Christian it is something I g have the right to do and I will do. I think you can choose the right words and express yourself quite well. I think that in the choice of words profanity and implied profanity is the one to watch, next would be statements of hurtful and hatred.

May it go well with, and you be able to give a reason for what you believe.
Youre welcome brother. Ive been very congested lately, but i think its because its been raining so much. That always bothers me. Too much humidity.
I apologize ahead of time for any coarseness/rudeness in my posts. I'm not feeling good and under tremendous stress at home and work. I'm near the breaking point. My wife hasn't been able to do much at home because of her own medical problems. I feel like there's a bunch of tiny animals trying to claw their way out of my body and they routinely take my breath away to make my breathing labored. The timing couldn't be worse.
