Oh No Not Another Apocalypse Thread By Chrysostom

Someone here seems to think that the millennial kingdom is a "Christian kingdom". It's not... it's an Israelite kingdom with Christ as King.

Here are some more details about that kingdom.

Luke 22:30 (AKJV/PCE)
(22:30) That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Matt 25:31 (AKJV/PCE)
(25:31) ¶ When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
Excellent point!

P.S. Someone said that numbers need no interpretation, they said that 1000 is 1000... then they claimed that a "kingdom" that lasted over 1,100 years was a "thousand year kingdom".
Not only that but no one can really tell you just when that kingdom actually started and there seems to be no record at all of it being attacked in the year 666.

In short buffoons say buffoonish things.

When you make things up regarding God, theology, and what will happen, you come off as stupid when a person posts what the scripture actually says. There are times when I am tired of it. It is literally the opposite of what Luke records in Acts.

2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures....11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

I could not agree more!

I don't even understand the point of making such things up! Where is the pay off? Whoever that clown is, she has to know, unless she is just delusional to the point of literal insanity, that she's not saying anything that there's any real foundation for and that any cult leader can mix up any flavor of cool-aid that they desire with such techniques as she is using to come up with this nonsense.

Both possible responses say the same thing. Study came back a little different, matching NKJV, but having the same meaning. Be thorough in your work.

I asked for the translation of the Greek in 1st century common meaning, not church tradition. I should have stated it. And Paul Felter has another video up on it. He is relying on the translation as is, not checking to see if it is correct. He is using logic alone and does a great job.

Going to Mars and preparing to do so is incredibly stupid. Many are given really bad "spiritual advice" from perverts that refuse to divide the gospel and steal from Israel.

How does the first sentence have anything to do with the second?

What's so stupid about wanting to explore the solar system? I mean, I agree that their whole worldview is flawed and the reasons they give for going are foolish but that doesn't mean that attempting to go to Mars is inherently a stupid thing to do.

The nice thing about Mars or the Moon or other physical places we might go is that they all actually exist in reality and the conditions that exist in these places cannot be winked at or ignored. This means that no amount faith in a false worldview will help you get there. If you go, it will be because the truth of reality itself was yielded to. That is an excellent thing for evil people to have to do!

Right now, we don't have the technology needed to send people to Mars, much less to do so in a way that they could return. If we ever succeed in doing it, it will mean that we have advanced several technologies a very great deal past where they are today. Advancements that will, no doubt, have a great many uses to the whole of society that have nothing to do with going to Mars. In short, science for science's own sake is a profitable undertaking and have all sorts of ancillary and unintended benefits.

I saw no evidence of being near the end. Meaning the table has to be set for prophecy to resume. Now, it is extremely obvious. 100 years from now is a blink of the eye compared to eternity. They think they will colonize and get resources. No they won't. But billions of dollars will be wasted.
