Charlie Kirk murdered by the left

JPPT1974

October Skies!
Praying for those who have not yet come to Christ will and grow in Him. Praying for his widow and two young kids. Keep in mind he was indeed a human being!

I am still grieving. Can't let go. Prayers for his family but his ministry as well. He was so many combined into one. Evangelist, a brilliant mind, a God fearing follower of the will of God, a dynamic leader, a political spokes person, and an honorable family man. How can he be replaced? Only God ... only God can bring about a miracle. Amen Lord Jesus.

Not every answer Kirk gave was correct. Just like most of us. Neither are those taking up the slack. Tucker Carlson might be the worst choice. I appreciate that he is at least candid. He is just wrong often. Ray Comfort decided not to talk politics at Turning Point. And they agreed. He preaches Christ crucified to those that will engage him.

As I listen more and more I find I don't agree with some things. Usually they've been minor things. But I love his courage and his desire for free speech. If the left can push their issues we can certainly express our beliefs. I believe truth will prevail over foolishness in the end BUT NOT if we don't share it.

Because it is in the Federalist Papers, Declaration of Independence, or Constitution doesn't make it right. That is my point. Not to disparage him.

Because it's in the Federalist Papers, Declaration of Independence, and Constitution makes it our sense of justice. And that's how we run things, according to our sense of justice. That's why the Supreme Court has the absolute power of judicial review, and why the jury has the absolute power of nullification.

Praying that everyone arguing online about this incident can come to their senses and see that division sows division. We have one way to act toward EVERYONE, and that is demonstrated by Jesus Christ as love your neighbor, and pray for your enemies. Anything less is actually not real Christianity, but an idol of self in the heart.

The sense of justice expressed by the Declaration of Independence, United States Constitution and the Federalist Papers is the purified form of the English sense of justice at that time, without the written law getting so much in the way. Now, the written law is getting in the way of our own, American sense of justice, but it has been a long time since the European sense of justice has been clearly known. It's about time for a revival, because the American sense of justice expressed in the framers' founding documents is only the purified sense of justice the English had then, which was the English interpretation of the continental European sense of justice, which was formed by Catholicism over many centuries, and which comes outta Jesus Christ.

No, but I think the absolute power of jury nullification is right. Don't you? There's no other country with that. Just us Americans, all the other countries take away that power from juries.
Parts of the law of Moses are crime and punishment. Let me know if you can find it. (it is not there). Or prison for that matter.

No. OJ Simpson murdered 2 people. A racist jury let him walk because the victims were white. Unjust can come from a judge or a jury.

ofc. What is your alternative to a jury trial? Just have judges and no jury? And what is your problem with juries having the absolute power to nullify the law? If it is a bad law, then 12 fellow citizens can pardon you, in effect. Many people who were guilty of alcohol crimes during Prohibition were pardoned by juries with the absolute power of jury nullification. The defendants were dead to rights, the prosecution had made its case, the facts of the case clearly showed the defendants broke the law, but it was a bad law, so the jury rendered the verdict Not Guilty. Not because they were not guilty of breaking the law, but because it was a bad law.

I think that if we would have executed more felons over the last 50 years, that this country would be a whole lot better rn than it is. I'm not sure that means we should have done it though.

In general yes. But be careful. Felon is also just a man made word with no meaning. Different states just give it different meaning. As stated, there is no prison time. Restitution, flogging, and execution get the job done. If you can't pay back the $7 million you siphoned, you have to work the debt off. And it can be hard labor, up to 7 years. Maybe you call that prison, but make them go to their own home at night.
