@marke, please take your discussion of gas prices to an appropriate thread. Thank you.
I was responding to a post that highlighted the fact democrats missed their gas price projections by a mile before the election and now are trying to burn their opponents in a corrupt show trial to deflect attention from the fact of their dishonesty and ignorance.

I assumed as much even though I can't see that post because I've had the poster on ignore since around last October. Regardless, if he continues to encourage you in a gas prices discussion, I'd appreciate it if you'd take the discussion to a thread that has something to do with gas prices.

I don't see the relevance of dismissing posts that demonstrate why corrupt democrats are lying about Jan 6.

White House Attempts To Distract From High Gas Prices By Putting Up Wacky Inflatable Tube Men In Front Of Price Signs

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The White House has unveiled a new plan to deal with rising gas costs by installing a wacky inflatable tube man in front of every price sign across the country.
"Wow, look how much fun it is to go to the gas station now!" said Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. "These wacky guys are going to turn frowns upside-down at pumps everywhere. Sure is hard to be depressed about canceling your family vacation when those arms are flailing in the wind!"
As gas prices continue to set records across America, the White House has been desperately brainstorming ways to not help and instead divert people's attention. "The problem is not our policies, the problem is that the media has done a terrible job communicating how great we are," said Press Secretary Karine Jeanne-Pierre. "We are doing incredible at forcing poor people to stop driving and using air conditioning, thus reducing our use of fossil fuels. But, short-sighted whiners that the poors are, they simply do not appreciate our help."
After gas surged past five dollars per gallon, the decision was made to deploy the wacky, waving, inflatable arm-flailing tube men. "No way we are letting the fact people can't afford to live steal our January 6th thunder!" said Representative Eric Swalwell, swinging his nunchucks. "Soon as we re-hash the riot we have been ramming down everyone's throats for the last 18 months, America will love us again. You'll see!"

At publishing time, Biden had come to blows with one of the inflatable tube men for failing to stay standing in the presence of the President. The tube man reportedly won the brawl handily.

Capitol Police debunk Jan. 6 panel allegation GOP lawmaker helped rioters surveil complex

In a major blow to one of the Democrat-led Jan. 6 investigative committee’s allegations, the Capitol police chief declared Monday there is no evidence that Republican Rep. Barry Loudermilk led a group of protesters on a reconnaissance mission the day before the riots.

Capitol Police Chief J. Thomas Manger, appointed since the Jan. 6 tragedy, wrote in a letter to Congress obtained by Just the News, that an exhaustive review of security footage found no evidence that the Georgia congressman did anything other than give constituents a tour of some congressional office buildings.

The Congressman didn’t even enter the U.S. Capitol with the group, Manger said.

Loudermilk may not have been one who led tours, however:

Rep. Mickie Sherill, a New Jersey Democrat, alleged in a January 2021 letter that she witnessed tours being conducted the day before Jan. 6.

"The tours being conducted on Tuesday, January 5, were a noticeable and concerning departure from the procedures in place in March of 2020 that limited the number of visitors to the Capitol," Sherill wrote. "These tours were so concerning they were reported to the Sargent (sic) at Arms on January 5."

No Criminal Referrals to Justice Department From J6 Committee

The most anti-climactic moment yet from the congressional hearings on the riot at the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, came yesterday when Committee Chairman Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-Miss.) indicated that the panel would not refer anyone to the Justice Department for criminal justice prosecution.

This surprised many of Thompson’s colleagues who had been traveling the country and squawking in front of cameras for months that the committee was going to send people to jail.

Thompson’s surprise announcement has taken the wind out of the committee’s sails and given the leftist commentariat the vapors.

Is there any way to separate the bold-faced liars from the honest witnesses? I believe most Americans are getting really tired of the never-ending democrat lie-fest.

What might we possibly find in a Clinton Foundation audit?

1. $10 million/year for Bill's business trips to Epstein's Pleasure Island
2. $15 million to law firms to dig up dirty lies about Trump
3. $30 thousand to FBI special agents to deal with Seth Rich and clean up afterward
4. $4 million to Get the Vote Out organization to hire mules to harvest and/or create ballots for democrats
5. $35 million for Hillary's walking around money
6. $80 million for new homes

And sooooooooooo much more!

Good for Bennie. Maybe he made a deal with republicans to back off charging Trump in order to keep them from spilling the beans about his hateful black supremacist racist past.

Bennie Thompson, the incumbent in the race for Mississippi’s Second Congressional District and Chairman of the January 6th Committee (prosecuting some of those who protested the 2020 federal election fraud), once supported a secessionist group called the Republic of New Afrika. Like white nationalists, these race-based secessionists believe in separating from the United States and creating a new nation where one race is superior to all others. This is and has always been wrong.

Secessionist groups like the Republic of New Afrika build militias and train to wage war against these United States. They often have radical Marxist and fascist views. Note that the term “fascism” is often misused by the media and Democrats – it actually means government control of industry, the same economic plan as Marxism/Socialism. These radical viewpoints deny the opportunities of economic prosperity and equal treatment that are guaranteed in a democratic, constitutional republic such as these United States.

Radicals like Bennie Thompson have no place in our United States House of Representatives. We need representatives who fight for all their constituents and truly wish to see every individual live up to the promise and potential that this land affords us.

In addition, leftists call conservatives stupid, deluded, and crazy. Maybe Thompson is also one of the 'crazies.' Here is more about him:

Thompson himself has a history of flirtation with extremist groups, appearing in 2014 on the New Nation of Islam radio show and making a series of controversial statements, such as calling Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas an "Uncle Tom" and suggesting Republican opposition to Obamacare was due entirely to race.

Thompson's comments received widespread coverage at the time, sparking criticism even from liberal commentators. But the fact that Thompson granted an interview to the New Nation of Islam – a splinter group from the larger Nation of Islam founded by a man who goes only by "Son of Man" – went largely unremarked upon.

While split from the Louis Farrakhan-run Nation of Islam, the New Nation of Islam holds the same extremist positions that led the Southern Poverty Law Center to designate the Farrakhan branch a hate group. The New Nation opposes "intermarriage or race-mixing" and supports the segregation of the races, arguing that proponents of integration "are trying to deceive the black people into believing that their 400 year-old open enemies of freedom, justice and equality are, all of a sudden, their ‘friends.'"

In the same year Thompson appeared on the program, "Son of Man" made comments on his radio show indicating he believes traditional Nation of Islam teaching that white people are subhuman monsters created 6,000 years ago by a scientist named Yakub. "Yakub wasn't white, he was black," he preached. "But he made a man white that he wanted to go and deceive us."
