The meat understanding is all about hearing thoughts that you know is not from God and resisting them. When you resist them it will reveal an unclean spirit in you. And if you resist him enough he will have to get out of you. But if you give into him he will grow stronger and stronger. If you cant resist him you must atleast repent for giving into him. This is the growing process. You dont know how many unclean spirits you have in you. You cant know until you start resisting them.
