Why Hell is Going to be Full of Religious People

Religion is the way that seems right unto a man.

"There is a way that seems right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death" Proverbs 14:12.

Religion is a diversion away from Christ and his Gospel. In the Gospel Jesus is the savior of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. Salvation has been provided for everyone, Hebrews 2:9. Even the ungodly who do nothing more than believe on him can be saved, Romans 4:5.

Religion is the broad way, and many there be that go that way, Matthew 7:13. They go that way because that is the most appealing way. Religion is the way of man, it is man's effort to become pleasing to God by his own works or by his own obedience. Religion is anti-Gospel and anti-Christ because it subverts the work and the person of Jesus Christ and replaces the Gospel with their own works and their own obedience.

Calvinist bypass the Gospel of Jesus by claiming that God saved them by declaring them saved before the foundation of the world. No Christ or Gospel needed. Catholics believe that they can participate in their own salvation by the works of the law. God does not accept the works or the obedience of sinners. God only accepts the works and the obedience of Jesus Christ. We are accepted only in him.

Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life: no man can come to the Father but by me" John 14:6. Jesus is the one that fulfilled every jot and tittle of God's holy law, Matthew 5:18. Jesus is the one that atoned for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. Jesus is the one that God accepted back into heaven, having victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil, Colossians 2:15. Jesus and Jesus alone is the one that saves and he saves to the uttermost, Hebrews 7:25.

Paul said, "The Just Shall Live By Faith" Romans 1:17. Living by faith does not mean living by rules laws or religion. Living by faith means to live by faith in Christ and his Gospel, plus nothing. If you try to add anything to Christ and his Gospel it perverts the Gospel and becomes another Gospel, Galatians 1:7.

Take a deep breath and hold.

Then let me know how that worked out for yuh.

Why are you always talking about hell as if hell is a big deal.

Hell is simply an archaic word for grave, which symbolizes death.

Anybody can die, no biggie.

Don't you wish. Hell is a real place, the bible teaches that, Revelation 20:15.

It is a serious thing to reject the saving work of Christ.

Hell is the grave where dead people are stored. The term symbolizes death.

Jesus referred to the lake of fire as hell fire. That's where death and hell will be cast into.

The disobedient angels are imprisoned spiritually, which is also referred to as hell.

Hell is the lake of fire, Jamie not the grave! Do you want to go there, I know I don't.

The heading displays a lack of understanding of what the word "full" means. It also proves the ignorance of sin, judgement and redemption in the writer.

You teach that sinners Christ died for are lost still. That's saying that you don't believe that Christ death alone saved anybody.

When I came on this Forum some years ago, you said, "This Forum is full of hertics and unbelievers" You were right.

Yes, but that is also because Knight allows "Christ crucified" to be preached and that all sin has been forgiven as a result. If he is lifted up, he will draw all unto him. Like moths to the flame.

Isn't religion a codification of moral principles?

Jamie is all about the law that she could never keep on her best day. Women are supposed to be into the love of God more than men. They love that warm and fuzzy feel-good stuff!

Very true. Works are everything to the religious. They think the more works you perform the more spiritual you are - just a Babylonian Wal-mart for righteousness.
