why don't you say the Our Father?

it has come to our attention
that
many here do not say the Lord's prayer
and
I am sure others would like to know why

why don't you tells us why?

For the same reason, members of the body of Christ do not, should not, obey the following scriptural commands/directives, and hundreds of others:

Mark 1:44 KJV And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Luke 18:22 KJV Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.

Matthew 16:20 KJV Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

"why don't you tells us why" you do not obey every command in the book?

Why do you say the Our Father but do not do what it says?

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name...


You call a mere man pope and you call that pope "Holy Father".

That is a name reserved for God the Father in heaven.

Jesus called God "Holy Father" (John 17:11).

Why aren't you doing what the prayer says?

Jesus said "Call no one on earth your father."

This was because the first-century family dynamics regarded the father, as head of the family, as a God-like entity who held fast to the biblical tradition as a jealous and punitive God of Justice.

Jesus' tradition was a God of mercy, as his Lord's Prayer plainly said.

Jesus made savage attacks on family values and did no quite often.
