what is Acts 9:5 really saying ?

I have always used Acts 9:5 and 6 to prove that the body of Christ began .

I have noticed that all have never commented on what verse 5 really means .

and he ( Paul ) said , who are you Lord and the Lord said , I AM Jesus Whom you are persecuting ( it is ) hard for you to kick against iron goads .

so what does that saying , hard for you to kick against iron goads , talking about .

in Acts 26:14 you will see the same wording ( iron goads ) .

and in 1 Cor 15:55 it is a combo of death and sting

and in verse 56 , it uses the same Greek word ( stink )

what say you ?

Could it be a picture of those who are captives of sin and will never be able to escape , with out Christ ?

and Jesus frees Saul , even when a Pharisee and was blameless under the Law .

and Paul escapes the sting of death and escapes Hell .

and those who are teaching the OT Law Rom 15:56 will probably never escape the wheel of death , which is religion .

so , Paul is set free to be the apostles of grace to gentiles .
