To be Redeemed and to be Saved does signify the exact same thing, being saved. For instance these are saved who here praise God for being redeemed Rev 5:9
9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Also the redeemed are made new creatures Rev 5:10;Now how are they redeemed? Is it by their Faith in Christ? No its not, its solely because Christ was slain and shed His Blood, See again Rev 5:9; then read 1 Pet 1:18-19; or by the equivalent, by His Death being made accused Galatians 3:13. Being redeemed from the curse of the law is Salvation!
