Yep. It looks as if Barb was just playing games with his fellow posters.
What would motivate a person to feign an exodus from a Forum? Could it be: To garner attention, shock value, some odd emotional need to be gained, or just to troll their fellow posters?
Another possibility might just have to do with, finding out how posters will respond to their supposed exit? Yet, another way of calling attention to themselves and their need for approval/acceptance.
