The U.S. has given notice to Iran and initiated some new sanctions against them. Iran's antagonism is based in their religion. However, the third world war will not be caused by either party. There is another party involved that will cause the war based on scripture.

No doubt the Chinese will be involved, but the war will not be incited by them. Jesus said that if he didn't intervene humanity would destroy itself.

However, scripture reveals who will incite the war. All the nations in the Middle East reject Christ as the Anointed One. This includes the Judeans.

Paul said God is not mocked. This is based on Hosea 8:14.
