Theologies built on verses understood out of context!

Rom 4:25 'He was delivered over to death for our sins, and raised to life for our justification.'

The 'our' refers to those to whom Paul is writing the letter.

The 'our' refers to those in Rome loved by God and called to be saints(Rom1:7), to those who had faith in Jesus Christ (Rom1:8).

So, Rom4:25 cannot be used to support the notion that 'our sins' refers to the sins of anyone but the recipients of the letter.

Too often many take a verse like this and say it applies to all persons alike. It does not!

Please read any verses you quote to support a theological position in their context: letters read in the context firstly of those to whom it is written.

All Scripture is given to all believers:
John 17:20-21:
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

There are more supporting passages to my reasoning, but leave it here since it is getting late for me.
