When God tore the veil that covered the Holy of Holies from the top to the bottom, Matthew 27:51. That signified the end of the Old Covenant, the law and the Jewish religion. This is why Paul wrote that "THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH" Romans 1:17 and not by rules, laws or religion.
Nope, it did not signify "the end of the Old Covenant", but instead the very opposite: it inaugurated the Covenant in full force because no one fully understood it until Messiah came to expound it all; that is why it is called the Renewed Covenant by many.

Paul said he lived by the Spirit's law. Why do you reject truth?

The Old Covenant, the law and the Jewish religion have been abolished, Hebrews 8:6. And has passed away, Hebrews 8:13.
The new covenant is to live by the Holy Spirit and not by the letter of the law. Jesus is the new covenant.
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ is the Gospel.

The law of the Spirit is the law the Spirit wrote with his own finger.
It's the law the Father reiterated in Revelation 22:14.

How can that be true when all three synoptic authors have the Messiah quoting Exodus 23:20a and applying the passage to Yohanan the Immerser? If Yohanan Eliyahu is the Messenger of Exodus 23:20-26 your whole theology is junked because the Torah was not even fully operational until the Master cried out, "It is finished", (his holy Testimony, which if you DO, will cause you to understand, and will likewise cause to you properly walk Torah, and thus the Master will have delivered you by his holy Testimony found in the Gospel accounts).
