There are some people on the Forum that profess to be Christians, but they hate the apostle Paul. Many say "I believe in Jesus, but not Paul". The Paul haters are usually those that have embraced a holiness doctrine. Paul believed that man is a sinner, even if he is a Christian.
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one" Romans 3:10.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.
Paul also confessed that he was "The Chief of Sinners" 1 Timothy 1:15. Paul revealed in Romans 7:13-25 that he struggled with sin. In spite of all of these scriptures some holiness people refuse to acknowledge that their righteousness is filthy rags in the sight of God, Isaiah 64:6.
To reject Paul is to reject the Gospel and justification by faith. Paul received the Gospel directly from Christ, Galatians 1:11, 12. It is the Gospel that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the world unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.
Paul traveled over 10,000 miles over a period of 20 years, preaching the Gospel to the pagan Gentiles. The Jews followed Paul everywhere that he went, they whipped him, stoned him and at one time left him for dead. Paul proved that he was a true apostle of Jesus Christ.
Paul was martyred because of his faith in Christ and his Gospel. The last words of Paul are found in 2 Timothy 4:6-22. After Paul wrote that he was beheaded. The only one that stayed with Paul while he was in prison was Luke, all of the others abandoned him.
