The Gospel, NOT YOUR RELIGION, is the power of God unto salvation, Romans 1:16

It appears that many get the cart in front of the horse in the Gospel. If religion is not motivated by the power of the Gospel it is useless and will not save anyone. The whole New Testament is about Christ and his Gospel. The Gospel is that work that Jesus did in our name and an on behalf that justifies the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and reconciles us and the whole world unto to God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Paul referred to this Gospel as the glorious Gospel. It is glorious because it is all of God, 2 Corinthians 4:4. Only those that have been born again by the word of God can hear and understand the Gospel, Romans 10:17. All of angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repents and comes to Christ, Luke 15:7-10.

"But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost in whom the God of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who is the image of God should shine unto them" 2 Corinthians 4:3, 4.

The God of this world is Satan. Satan blinds the minds of people with false doctrines and religions. Christians are truth seekers, we are always looking for truth, this is why we love our Bibles and need no other writings than the Bible. The Bible is the full revelation of Christ and his Gospel, it is all that we need for faith and practice.

All false religions have writings other than the Bible. Satan uses these false writings to draw people away from Christ and his Gospel. Jesus said, "Beware of men". All false religions are founded by men and are man centered. The Bible and the Bible only is the inspired word of God.
