Jesus once said Matt 26:28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
Now many in false religion dont understand nor value the Blood of Christ, the Son of God, God Man, and what it actually does, accomplishes. They think that Christ just died, shed His Blood, and thats it, its now up to sinners to do something with it in order for it to accomplish the saving purpose of God. That is mans sinful thinking, the blood of Christ actually effects the saving purpose of God in Christ. #1. It effects remission of sins, or forgiveness of sins, for all the many it was shed for, no exceptions.
Remission of sins This can be said of every sinner Christ died for, shed His Blood for Eph 1:7
In whom we have redemption through[on the account of] his blood, the forgiveness/remission of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Col 1:14
In whom we have redemption through[on the account of] his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Now understand, Paul here in these two epistles is writing about the blood of the new covenant Jesus spoke of in Matt 26:28 !
And every sinner it was shed for, on account of that, they have received, the remission or forgiveness of sins ! The word for remission is the greek word aphesis and means:

- release from bondage or imprisonment
- forgiveness or pardon, of sins (letting them go as if they had never been committed), remission of the penalty
Every one Christ shed His Blood for has been released from the penalty of sin, which is death Rom 6:23
This release is not on account of their faith, their repentance, anything they did or did not do, but on account of Christ's Blood !
All whom Christ shed His Blood for have been delivered from the retributive wrath of God justly due for their sins.
Remember when Paul wrote this about the wrath of God Eph 5:3-6
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Them Christ died for, shed His Blood for, are forgiven of and released from the penalty of the very same sins, that the children of disobedience shall partake of the wrath of God for !
And its not because of their faith, their believing, or repenting, but solely upon the blood of Christ, its effectual like that with God !
