Isa 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Pet 2:24

24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

This Gospel Testimony informs us that the death of Christ alone brings about saving effects.

Therefore all for whom He died [ His Sheep] are healed !

Exactly Brother, those for whom Christ died as Surety Saviour for, as the Great Shepherd of the Sheep, we as His Sheep partake of all the Saving Effects and Spiritual Benefits of the Healing Power of His Stripes Is. 53:5; 1 Pet. 2:24: Turning us from apostacy / false religion, and turns us back to God.

1 Pet. 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

The healing the death of Christ brings about for the ones He died for us their conversion to God. It gives Spiritual seeing, hearing, and understanding, without which conversion to God is impossible. The reverse effects of not being healed by Christ death, because He didn't die for one are here In 12:40

He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Isa 6:10

Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

That having been given a spiritual understanding is the effect of Christ coming and dying is indicated here 1 Jn 5:20

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

That spiritual ability to hear, see and understand are from a special enablement of God is indicated here Deut 29:4

4 Yet the Lord hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Amen , Christ's death for His Sheep guarantees they shall:

See with their eyes spiritually

Hear with their ears spiritually

Understand with their heart spiritually

Be converted and be healed spiritually

All of Which bear evidence of one being healed by the stripes of Christ!

On the other hand, those whom Christ did not die for [goats], their hearts shall remain fat; their ears remain heavy, and their eyes remain shut to the truth.

Isa 6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
Isaiah 6:9-10 is a delicately balanced Scripture. At first it gives the impression that Isaiah was to deliberately preach to his contemporaries in order to blind their eyes and make their ears deaf, and harden their hearts. You may not be familiar with the Book of Isaiah, but it is the most remarkable prophecy, even described by some as the Fifth Gospel. And Isaiah was successful to some extent, forming some disciples, and then having a substantial influence on Hezekiah, which ushered in a period of spiritual awakening. Similarly with Jesus, the same message of Isaiah 6:9-10 is applicable to his ministry, and again he developed disciples and laid the foundation for God's righteousness to be declared throughout the Jewish and Gentile world. Isaiah 6:9-10 is applied in the NT in three stages, Matthew 13, John 12 and Acts 28 and without understanding this development then we miss the teaching. There is a subtle difference between how Isaiah 6:9-10 is quoted in Matthew 13 and John 12 and your painting over this with your predestination theories fails to discover this.

Kind regards
Trevor

Christ who is Wisdom gives those He died for / His Sheep, an understanding which heals their darkened minds, which is a direct result and effect of His coming and dying.

Exactly Sister. And then one can understand the Gospel of their Salvation Matt 13:23

23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Hi and what is the context of Isa 6:1-13 ?

#2 Is it Israel ?

#3 Is it the BODY OF CHRIST ?

#4 What is the SIGNIFICANCE of the Alter in verse 6 ?

$5 What is the significance of the SERAPHIMS 6 wings ?

#6 What does the number 6 , SIGNIFY in verse 2 ?

#7 How can Isaiah see God when John 3:13 SAYS that no man has hath ascended up to HEAVEN ?

What is my Op point ?

Hi and I did read your Op and in Isa 53:5 is also written in Acts 8:30-35 !

#1 Point 1 is that the CONTEXT is all Israel and not speaking to the BODY OF CHRIST !

#2 , In Isa 6:2 the Seraphims have 6 wings !

#3 The number 6 has to do with MAN like man was created on the SIXTH DAY , and connected with HUMAN LABOUR and like MURDER , the worst SIN .

#4 In verse 2 , the Seraphims had 6 wings , with 2 covered his FACE and shows that Israel or Jews would never see Isaiah MESSAGE

And with 2 wings covered his 2 FEET and Isaiah would cover the LAND of Israel preaching the GOSPEL that verse 10 COVERS .

#5 And with 2 WINGS , Isaiah FLEW all over Israel .

#6 Compare Isaiah 6:10 with 2 Cor 3:13-15 !

There is more !
