Heb 2:9-10
9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
First we want to know who their are in this scripture. Who is the writer referring to ?
The their are the ones in Vs 9 who are called "The evey man" Jesus tasted death for !
His tasting death for them in Vs 9 is the same as His being made perfect through sufferings in Vs 10 which also made Him the Captain of their Salvation. His Sufferings unto Death saved them, them being the every man in Vs 9. No every man doesnt mean or say every man without exception, but it simply says and mean every man He tasted death for . And they all, every man of them, Christ was made the Captain of their Salvation !
