The Bible is the inspired word of God.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

Outside of the Bible we know nothing about Christ and his Gospel. The sole purpose of the bible is to reveal Jesus Christ and his Gospel, this it does very well. The Bible also reveals the righteousness of God and the sinfulness of man. The Bible was written by Christians for Christians. Those that are Christians do not have a problem with it and fully accept and believe it. Those that have trouble with it usually have other writings besides the Bible such as "The Canons of Dort" that was composed by the Synod of Dordrecht between November 13, 1618 and May 19, 1619. The purpose of "The Canons of Dort" is to distort and pervert God's word the Bible. It is the Calvinist Bible.

Calvinist have a lot of problems with the Bible. They try to make the Canons of Dort fit in with the Bible. When it doesn't fit they become hostile and immediately disregard God's word and up hold the Canons of Dort. What it comes down to is... John Calvin's words verses God's word. Some hyper Calvinist on the Forum even call God's word evil when it refutes them. Calvinist don't seem to have a problem with changing words in the Bible or adding words to the Bible. They will do almost anything to make the Canons of Dort fit into the Bible.

There is an attack going on today towards God's word the Bible. There must be about 15 different versions of the Bible on the market today. Some people have as many as five different versions of the Bible. When the scriptures says something that they don't like, they try a different version until they find one that suits their fancy. I only use one version, the KJV. I believe it to be the most accurate. I read the writings of other men, but if it varies from the Bible I scrap it. All false religions have one thing in common, they all have writings other than the Bible. The Mormon's have actually written their own Bible, it is called "The Book of Mormon". I think the author was Joseph Smith.

The Bible is very easy to understand. It was written by common men for common men. All that one has to do to understand the Bible is to come to the Bible with an open mind to see what the scriptures are saying to you. If you come to the Bible with a preconceived idea of what you think the Bible should say, you will not understand it and like the Calvinist you will become hostile towards God word. Many believe that the Bible contradicts itself. There are no contradictions in the Bible. What there is, is people that are not Christians that are trying to make the Bible say something that it does not say. Scripture does not contradict scripture. If you think that it does, it may be that you are not a Christian.

The sole purpose of the Bible is to reveal God's love. God is the very epitome of love, but for love to abound it must be reciprocated. God created humankind to love and be loved in return.

God loves Calvinistas and no one can countermand his love. Stop trying to negate God's love for those who disagree with you.

Yes, God is a God of love, but he is also holy, righteous and just. It is because he is holy that he must judge sin. If he did not judge sin he would not be holy, righteous and just. God has done all that he can do for the salvation of fallen man. In the Gospel Jesus comes into the world to do for fallen man what fallen man cannot do for himself. In the Gospel Jesus fulfills all of the demands of God's holy law. He does this in our name and on our behalf for our justification, Romans 3:26. In the Gospel Jesus atones for the sins of fallen man and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. Jesus has met all of the requirements that God demands for the salvation of fallen man. We can now stand before God as perfect and complete in Jesus Christ, Colossians 2:10, because of the doing and the dying of Jesus.

Humans were designed to sin and God has taken care of the sin issue.

It's a done deal.

Your right. The sin question has been resolved by the doing and the dying of Jesus. We can now stand before God as complete in Christ, Colossians 2:10.

"but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 3:18)

Are you growing or are you already at your peak?

You believe sinners Christ died for are still lost, which denies the Saving efficacy of His Blood. Thats unbelief !

We are receptacles of God's grace. God created us to receive Christ and his Gospel, it is the natural thing to do. It is unnatural to reject God's great free gift of salvation that has been provided for us by Jesus Christ.
