No, there's only one commandment and you break it over and over and over.

Shalom.

Today is Shlishli (Third), 12-26. It is Yom, Day.

I do not know your reason for objecting or what you are objecting to. I know the following but I do not know if it pertains to you.

Matthew 7:6 KJV - Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

What is the one commandment that you speak of? Why did you say that there is only one commandment and that I break it over and over and over? I am asking you because I do not know what you are talking about. I would like to know. I do my best to live a blameless life before my G-d. I have great success and I do not know of what you are imagining when you speak type typed or spoke this to me in the presence of those who read this thread about God's commandments. Because this is about God's commandments I do not know why you are objecting.

Shalom.

[It is customary to insert a dash in G-d's name when written or printed on a medium that could be defaced.

Today is Wednesday, March 13, 2018.

A made up custom by man.
Did Moses write His name with missing letters substituted with a dash?
There is no command from GOD to write His name with missing letters.
Do you follow men or GOD?

You can write G-d if you want to but you do not have to. I can write God.

Then why were you giving credence to a man-made custom that is not of GOD?
Don't get sucked into man-made customs that GOD never ordained to be.
Leave them where they belong ---- apart from the word of GOD.

GOD did not request that anyone should ever leave out or replace letters in His name.
But you are right that man can, and does, make up stuff concerning GOD, and try to pass it off as being something righteous.
Don't be one of them.

I should inform you and assure you that it does not have to do with passing anything off or passing off anything as being something righteous.

It is a made up custom proposed by man that GOD never ordained.
Why you would give any merit to such a thing is beyond me, especially in a thread that is about GOD's commands.
A man-made custom has no business being associated with the commands of GOD.
Not only is it no command of GOD, but it is not even a custom of GOD.
Leave it out, it has nothing to do with the commands or customs of GOD.

That is one way to see or view it or this.

We do not need to dwell on it. There is a reason that people do this. It is not always the same reason. There must be a reason that this was first done.

God is an English word.

At all.

There is a reason that people do this. It is not always the same reason. There must be a reason that this was first done.
It's not because GOD said to, that's for sure.
It is clearly a man-made invention that has no scriptural backing at all.

I would be remiss to not mention that you should check your date. I do not observe the calendar that you have given a date for.
