There are many on TOL who just quote Bible verses. This is not a spiritual practice. It does not make any impact on anyone. It follows a mistaken idea that it is being 'super spiritual' or Christian or something. Please if you quote a bible verse then explain the application your making to the topic in hand.

It's all they can do because they don't understand the doctrines contained in the verses. The word comes to them in word only and not in power.
