Revelation 13: 2-3 and Revelation 6: 2-8 Applied To the 2016 Election
James wrote an article on July 1, 2016 to volunteers and supporters of his ministry using Revelation 13: 3 and Revelation 6: 1-8 to look at the 2016 presidential election. For example, he said "It may be that Hillary wins the election, causes the Deadly Wound pattern to accelerate and intensify by continuing the lunacy of Barack Obama, and..... so whether Trump wins or not, Trump’s statement [regarding the Deadly Wound] is a sign that tells us he is the man who will lead the way to the healing of the Deadly Wound."
James also said that "....we again re-iterate the fundamental theme of the White Horse, Red Horse, Black Horse, Pale Horse pattern – but it is now highly accelerated, differentiating it from prior manifestations. We further see aspects of the German struggle in the 1930’s reiterated ".
By the White Horse, Red Horse, Black Horse, Pale horse pattern James is talking about the four riders of Revelation 6, and also about the beast empires of Daniel 7, the British, Soviet Union or Marxist empire, the German Nazi empire and the Pale Horse as globalism.
I know that this view of Revelation 13: 2-3 is not one of the church views, nor is the view here of Revelation 6: 2-8 a church view.
James continues, "Those familiar with history know the Communists almost took Germany, but the Fascist backlash barely prevailed. In this period, the Dialectical think-tank that was the Frankfort School fled, and welcomed in educational establishment in the US."
"Back to the eerie parallel between the two American candidates, the dislike factor in the two most powerful parties in Germany was pivotal, as the nation was sharply divided between the Communists and the National Socialists (the Nazis). Even though the Nationalists were growing in power as the German republic was falling apart, an electoral contest showed surprisingly sharp gains for the Communists. Yet neither was able to achieve a decisive majority."
He is interpreting Revelation 13: 2-3, "And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."
The beast here is the First Beast of Revelation 13, and it is said to be like a leopard, a bear and a lion. This refers to Daniel 7: 4-6, "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it. 5. And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh. 6. After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it."
Revelation 13: 2 does not mention the fourth beast empire in Daniel 7: 7, nor does it mention the Little Horn of Daniel 7: 8, also a nation. One of the heads of this First Beast can be seen to be of the First Beast, that is, this beast is like the previous three beast empires of Daniel 7: 5-7, and has traits of those three previous beast empires.
Using Daniel 7: 4-8 to interpret Revelation 13: 2-3, one of the heads of the beast which was wounded to death but its wound was healed could be the Little Horn nation, which received a deadly wound in 70 A.D. which was later healed. .
Though the Little Horn nation in Daniel 7: 8 may well be part of the composite which is the First Beast of Revelation 13, the deadly wound can be seen to happen to that beast in Revelation 2 which has traits of three previous beast empires in Daniel 7: 4-6, the British lion kingdom, the Russian Old Soviet Union Bear kingdom (and Marxism in general). and the German Nazi Kingdom.
So, the head of the First Beast would be the U.S., especially as the U.S. national security state, rather than as the Constitutional Republic.
Then, the question is what is that deadly wound to the U.S, which is healed?
The deadly wound could be a terrible nuclear war which wipes out a substantial percentage of the people of the U.S,
It - the deadly wound - could be exactly what has happened to the U.S. in the past eight years, or in the years since the election of George H. W. Bush, through the years of the Bill and Hillary Clinton reign and on into the administration of George W. Bush, and that of Barack Obama..
The deadly wound is ongoing and could get worse, It could include a war of some kind, maybe a nuclear war. But the deadly wound that is later healed is to the foundations of our culture, our national identity. Our culture, our values, our morals, our truth, and our spirituality are all diminished in the deadly wound.
The deadly wound is healed by a movement to restore our culture, our Christian based individual cultural dominance, to put life back into our Bill of Rights, to restore our morality, our creativity and yes, our faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
James said "Trump’s statement [regarding the Deadly Wound] is a sign that tells us he is the man who will lead the way to the healing of the Deadly Wound. " That is interesting, especially what Trump said that is relevant to the deadly wound.
It is true in history that in the last years of the German Weimar Republic, before the Nazis took over in 1933, the nation was divided - almost equally - between the Marxists and the Fascists, and that the Marxists were internationalists and the German Nazis were nationalists. Yet, James does not jump immediately to the conclusion that Donald Trump is therefore a fascist because he is a nationalist and an American Populist. And, in fact, the American Populist movement had its origins in Texas, the Midwest and in the South long before Nazism..
Some who get their talking points from the old dinosaur media do jump to this conclusion that since Trump is a nationalist, therefore he is also a fascist..
