ECT Preterism is mythology

The Word of God alone is sufficient for the faith and walk of the believer.

Yet without admitting it, preterists make Josephus and other extrabiblical writings a vital part of their faith. They have to. If not for the AD 70 reporting of Josephus -- which does not match the prophecies -- and other uninspired references which are back-read into Scripture, no case for preterism could be made from the Bible alone. Remove Josephus and similar extrabiblical writings from the picture and preterism starves to death for lack of evidence, since the evidence preterists do provide is insufficient if not contradictory to the inspired record.

Preterists add to the Word of God by elevating an unsaved, Christ-hating Jew to the level of God's oracle, then by interpreting God's Word through that lost man. They must do this because, again, the Word alone is insufficient to substantiate preterism. That is the essential definition of mythology. It is a cult. It is the very type of vain philosophy believers are warned to avoid.

Dispensationists do not understand the written word. Many words must be changed to mean something else. For example:
Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
You have to be blind to not understand who was standing there.
Jesus said Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
That ditch is very close by for those that can't read.

Here is another:

Rev 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
How is it that 'shortly come to pass' has come to mean, for the blind, 'a long, long, long time'.

The last prophet was John the Baptist. The disciples wrote about Jesus and what he said. That was about his coming in judgment, which is also a prophecy that had already been written.

(Matt 24:34) Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

(Matt 16:28) “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

(Luke 19:44) They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God’s coming to you.”

(1 Cor 10:11) These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

(1 Peter 1:20) He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.

(Heb 1:2) but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

(James 5:8) You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

(Rev 22:10) Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.

No Josepus required.

The Bible clearly supports Preterism.

In the above verses, Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, John, and the writer of Hebrews all support Preterism.

Now, this is the way to respond to a post. Scripture proves what is truth every time.

Keep up the good work!

8 verses pulled out of their contexts, talking about different events.

Wrong.

They all speak of the events that took place during "the last days".

They all speak of events that took place before the generation of Jesus' contemporaries all passed away.
