Pre-Flood, Sodom and Gomorrah and Tower of Babel Mindset

"And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.28. Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29.But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all." Luke 17: 26-29

Dean Gotcher says: "God cannot speak into the pre-flood, Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah, dialectic mind, even though it might quote scripture." From: https://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/brai...ic-gotcher.htm

"The dialectic is man thinking through his feelings. This is the reason God flooded the world and will judge the world again. "And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man." (Luke 17:26) " So says Gotcher.

Then he says "The dialectic paradigm rejects the word of God as the final authority. It turns to fables and the opinions of men. You do not dialogue truth, you teach truth, you dialogue compromise. From: https://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/brai...ic-gotcher.htm.".......The prophecy of Luke 17: 26. Gotcher is saying, can be seen to began to be fulfilled now because of the widespread use of the dialectic. He is saying that the mindset behind the use of the dialectic is somehow like that of the mindset of pre-Flood times, as well as the mindset of people at the times of the Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorrah events.

The Tower of Babel Event is in Genesis 11: 1, 4-9. "And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.............And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. 8. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth."

Genesis 11: 1, 4-9 has to be interpreted by other scriptures, and the interpretation of the Flood event in Genesis 6 to 7 is part of the understanding of Genesis 11: 1, 4-9.

Those descendants of Noah, his sons and their wives after the Flood who are the subject of Genesis 11: 1,4-9, apparently not only speak the same language, but they also have the same religion, follow the same doctrines of what can be called an early form of the Babylonian religion. In a sense the descendants of Ham in the Tower of Babel Event had returned to the mindset - the dark and flawed mindset of those right before the Flood. In other words, the descendants of Ham in the Tower of Babel Event had reverted back, to some extent, to the mental and spiritual condition of the descendants of the Sons of God and the Daughters of Men of Genesis 6, an inter-breeding which brought on the judgment of God as the Flood of Noah/. Genesis 6: 9 says "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."

Generations is from: Strong's Hebrew number 8435, to-led-aw': or toldah {to-led-aw'}; from 03205; (plural only) descent, i.e. family; (figuratively) history:--birth, generations." This sounds like it could be talking about Noah's genetics. But whether the Sons of God in Genesis 6 were fallen angels who bred with human women to produce a race of hybrids, or a people faithful to God had bred with a people not faithful to God, to produce offspring who God rejected, the Tower of Babel Event marked some kind of return to the mindset, morally and psychologically, of the pre-Flood times.

Something dark, flawed and demented happened to the pre-Flood,Tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah generations. And the present day alliance of the financial and corporate ruling elite with the Islamic Jihadists and the dumbed down Marxist Leftists as their surrogates,, as well as the degenerated psychological and moral condition of the leadership of the Democratic Party in the 2016 election and beyond into 2017. point to a similar dark, flawed, morally fallen and demented mental condition. In addition, the drift into homosexuality and lesbianism as politically correct sexual orientations by 2016-2017 is an indicator that we are seeing the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecy of Luke 17: 26. "And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man."

I did not get into the details of the Genesis 6: 1-5 event - the offspring of the sons of God and the daughters of men - and the Genesis 7 event, the Flood of Noah above. The offspring of the sons of God and the daughters of men is a huge topic. Getting into it would take up a number of paragraphs. I may reduce what I have and post that later.

I can say a little about the Genesis 18 and 19 Sodom and Gomorrah event. "Since the Lord told Abraham and Sarah about the coming birth of Isaac just prior to the destruction (Gn 18:10–14), the date of the destruction can be calculated based on the birth date of Isaac. If we assume a mid-15th century BC date for the Exodus, the date for the destruction would then be ca. 2070 BC."

The "destruction" is God's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah,

Genesis 19: 1,4-5, 15, 24-25 "Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening as Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground...............But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter: 5. And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them......... And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city............Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; 25. And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality. There may have been some homosexuality also in the pre-Flood era.

Paul mentions lesbianism in Romans 1: 26-27 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet."

Romans 1: 27 helps explain what Paul meant in Romans 1: 26, that women were having sex with women.
