Our troops have fought and died
- So that I can have a say, no matter how small, in how this country is governed.
- So that my children have the chance to be whatever they want to be
- So that we can marry whomever they want
- So that we can worship when and where and how they see fit
- So that we could walk on the moon
- So that we can go from state to state to state without papers
- So that blacks and whites and all others can ride together on the same bus
- So that blacks and whites and all others can attend the same schools
- So that a woman has the right to choose
- So that Wall Street tycoons can make and keep all the money they want
- So that gays can be free to marry and serve in the military
- So that Hollywood can produce whatever movies they feel like
- So that we can have a thriving pron industry
- So that pregnant teenage girls can still go to school
- So that we can sit home and watch TV and ignore those in need and then complain when the government helps them
America is many many things. As the list above indicates, America is a combination of things we like, agree with and approve of and of other things that we find abhorrent. And our soldiers have fought and died to defend all of these things.
