Muslims: Stay out.

I wrote this on a social media site, and I figured that you guys might enjoy reading it:

Muslims have no place in Western civilization. You cannot be a good Muslim and a good Westerner. That's just a fact. It was true at the advent of Islam. It was true in the Middle Ages. It's true now.

The law of the Muslim "prophet" is at variance with Western laws, values, culture, etc...

...the historical facts speak for themselves. The only reason why Muslim civilization isn't threatening us to the same degree as they were from the advent of that hateful and demonic religion up through the middle ages is because they have repeatedly gotten curbstomped and technologically left in the dust by the Western world.

And even now, terrorism still finds semi-official support from Muslim political societies (e.g., Iran).

Islam always has been a threat. It is still a threat. The threat is inherent to the ramblings of their insane and rambling "prophet."

They want entrance into the western world? Then let them repudiate their violent errors and come into the Western world eating bacon and drinking beer. Otherwise? May they rot...

...Again: The historical facts speak for themselves. There may be "Muslims" who are good westerners. But by the same stroke, they are not good Muslims...

...The official policy of Muslim civilization has, traditionally and historically, always been: "Convert, die or be enslaved." Well you know what? I say that Western nations should display the same attitude to Muslims.

"Convert or stay out."...

...[In answer to an objection that Mormons don't drink beer, and vegans do not eat bacon:]...

Charles Martel didn't have to drive back hordes of invading Mormons at the Battle of Tours. Seriously. Western nations didn't have to repel the navies of the vegans at the battle of Lepanto. To Hell with Islam, with their Quran and everything that they believe and hold "sacred."

My thoughts are with Luke 6, starts by saying, love and pray for your enemies and ending with.....

Be merciful, just as also your Father is merciful.
“Stop judging and you will not be judged.
Stop condemning and you will not be condemned.
Forgive and you will be forgiven.
Give and gifts will be given to you;
a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing,
will be poured into your lap.
For the measure with which you measure
will in return be measured out to you.”

Eric H:

I'm speaking more to a matter of political policy. :idunno:

Jesus says His followers are not of the world.

Politics are of the world.

Why are you so deeply involved with politics against Jesus' teachings?

BTW, you are not the only one, as you know. Most churchgoers are in the same boat with you.

The truth of the matter Traditio is that there are a lot of humble people caught up in that religion who were once people of YHWH, but were forced to convert or die. Jesus wants us to win them back - not fear them or kill them. In the end we must win them to Christ and convince them of the truthfulness of the gospel as compared to Mohammed.
- and btw, one the reasons "The law of the Muslim "prophet" is at variance with Western laws, values, culture, etc..."
is because they get most of it from oral history of what Mohammed probably said which wasn't even a memorized part of the Koran, and the interpretation of all the followers on this oral history. Thus there are conflicting views of what "law" they are actually supposed to follow.

Islam is a threat. It has always been a threat. Muslims, at least in some way, perpetrate that threat.

That is a fact.

Your opening post is one of the best you have made here. Well done. She is on their side and is opposed to liberty. You cannot say you support liberty and say religious freedom for muslims. Those concepts are in clear contention with each other.

Then go to Afghanistan, Syria, Saudi Arabia...your choice and witness to them in love. Where would you like your headless body sent when they don't want it anymore?

I'm speaking more to a matter of political policy.

“...neither Pagan nor Mahamedan, nor Jew, ought to be excluded from the civil rights of the Commonwealth because of his religion.”
 — John Locke, The Second Treatise of Government

"Where the preamble [of the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom] declares, that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed by inserting the words “Jesus Christ,” so that it should read, “A departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion;” the insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mohammedan, the Hindoo and Infidel of every denomination." [Thomas Jefferson, Autobiography; from George Seldes, ed., The Great Quotations, Secaucus, New Jersey: Citadel Press, 1983, p. 363]

I disagree with Locke and Jefferson. What's your point?

Note that my point isn't that Islam is repugnant to Christianity. My claim is that Islam is repugnant to Western civilization (and, in fact, everyone who is not a Muslim).

That is a fact.

The *threat* is religious extremISTS. The only way to combat religion extremists is to ban religion.

So sorry you don't agree with the freedom our country stands for.

Your opening post is one of the best you have made here.

Not surprising that you agree with him ... two peas in a pod and all ...

Well done. She is on their side

When in doubt distort and intentionally misrepresent the response of those your *liberty* allows you to hate. :chuckle:

and is opposed to liberty.

You mean, like yourself ...

You cannot say you support liberty and say religious freedom for muslims.

Sure you can ... since religious freedom does NOT allow for breaking the legitimate law.

Those concepts are in clear contention with each other.

No they aren't ... however, you are just too dishonest to admit that the ONLY liberty you support are for those who hold your religious views. IF you had the power of a dictator, your first mandate would be "convert or else".

Our country allows for religious freedom and REJECTION of any religion, yours included. Thank you for making the case of why it needs to stay this way.

Fair enough, but western civilization stems from Christianity and the liberty that comes with it.

You clearly don't have a clue, or you are as I say you are about liberty and Christianity. You hate it and lie about muslims. Or maybe you are just really stupid. Convince me of one or the other. Sharia law is at the core of islam. Your misdirection is noted and struck from the record. Now convince me you are stupid or evil.
