Le 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Le 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Le 23:32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

MANY PEOPLE CLAIM THAT THIS VERSE SAYS THAT THE DAY
STARTS AT EVENING BUT DOES IT ?

1. It is a Separate Holy Day.

2. It is NOT the Weekly Sabbath or a Regular Day.

3. God says to Keep the 10 th day as Holy.

4. God says to Fast at the Evening of the 9 th day

so that their stomachs would be empty on the 10 th day.

5. Thus, this Holy Day has nothing to do with

the start of the Regular day or weekly Sabbath.

We are so messed up. It is chaotic.

SDA says they keep all commandments but they disregard "love your enemy" teaching by advocating to kill their enemy.

Jesus commands are summed up by two laws, love God and love one another. Loving your enemy is one of loving one another command which most churches disregard, including SDA.

Jesus said we should love our neighbor as we love ourself. If we find ourself in danger we should try to save ourself from harm. It's our duty to God.

The same principle of loving neighbor preempts loving our enemy if there is a conflict. Our country is certainly our neighbor.

Saving lives and preserving the peace takes priority even over the Sabbath.

We should give thanks to those to those who serve.

I think that I will concentrate on preparing for the soon coming Kingdom

and not bother with TOL anymore.

Jesus did not endorse killing anyone. He and His apostles did not defend themselves by harming anyone, they were killed instead. If Jesus did not defend Himself why should His followers?

Killing is of the world. His followers should not get involved with violence or blood shed.

Jesus had no reason to kill anyone. He was not a law enforcement officer nor was he in the Roman military. Jesus had a job to do which did not involve the necessity of killing anyone.

Jesus will make war when the time comes.

Now I saw heaven opened and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. (Revelation 19:11 NKJV)​
