Lmohm has some sound advice for newbie MichaelCadry

My issue with someone calling themself a 'gay Christian' is simply they they aren't letting go of their sin nature and giving it to Christ. They are putting a sin before their relationship with God. Anything that we put before God is a god or an idol in our lives. Which means that I think it's a stretch to call someone who is openly living in such sin with no intention of trying to get right with God a Christian.
