Kasich was given the concerns of women on campus concerning sexual assault and rape on campus by a female student and Kasich responded by saying what he would do. The student resorted by asking what he would do to make her feel safe. He gave some advise to avoid parties where there was a lot of alcohol. This is common sense advise and exactly what any father would tell his daughter. The Democrat party had a meltdown on this with the other typical parts of society who think alike in a pack mentality. They accused him of blaming the victim. What? Where do they learn to think like this? Here is a segment of the story I am talking about:
The student said that the epidemic of college sexual assault is "sad, but it's something that I have to worry about."
Kasich responded with what he called a "bit of advice."
"Don't go to parties where there's a lot of alcohol. OK? Don't do that," he said, as some in the audience applauded.
The Democratic National Committee pounced on the comments, criticizing the governor in a statement that suggested he was "blaming victims of sexual and domestic violence."
