Kasich gets attacked by PC police.

Kasich was given the concerns of women on campus concerning sexual assault and rape on campus by a female student and Kasich responded by saying what he would do. The student resorted by asking what he would do to make her feel safe. He gave some advise to avoid parties where there was a lot of alcohol. This is common sense advise and exactly what any father would tell his daughter. The Democrat party had a meltdown on this with the other typical parts of society who think alike in a pack mentality. They accused him of blaming the victim. What? Where do they learn to think like this? Here is a segment of the story I am talking about:

The student said that the epidemic of college sexual assault is "sad, but it's something that I have to worry about."

Kasich responded with what he called a "bit of advice."

"Don't go to parties where there's a lot of alcohol. OK? Don't do that," he said, as some in the audience applauded.

The Democratic National Committee pounced on the comments, criticizing the governor in a statement that suggested he was "blaming victims of sexual and domestic violence."

Did he give that same advise to the sexual predators who tend to lurk at college parties?

I watched the video...in all fairness he brought up some marginal ideas prior to his above quote. Prefacing the quote with "And I'll also give you one bit of advise..."

Much ado over nothing.

Why would he give that advise to predators? Their advise should be we are going to lock you up.

The above started out to be a promising thread ... which of course lead to this:

Hillary's millennial supporters want the government to make it safe for them to whore around.

Conservatives! ...pitchfork always at the ready!

Does the saying -- An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure -- strike any chords with you?

Staying away from alcohol will not stop a predator from eventually victimizing a woman.

The objection to Kasich's 'advice' is that it was based on increasing women's fear when he was specifically asked about what he'd do to help decrease that fear. And the objection was also based on the presumption that it's the woman's responsibility to anticipate the rapist's behaviors and avoid them, when, in fact, it's the college's and the state's responsibility to provide for women's security.

It was sort of like having a policeman tell you that it's your responsibility to avoid being robbed by not going out at night. When in fact it's his responsibility to keep the streets safe so that you CAN go out at night without being robbed.

This insane victim-blaming is a consistant habit of republican politicians and their supporters, and that's what various people were objecting to, in this case.

Correct ... it also legitimizes rape as being an expected and appropriate response. Which is right in line with comments from this OP such as this:

Hillary's millennial supporters want the government to make it safe for them to whore around.

Why is it appropriate for men to "whore around" and go even further by committing the crime of rape?

Also, how is this different from all the supporters of the adulterous man-whore known as Trump?

Selective morality based on politics and gender. :plain:

Who cares about Kasich ?

Liberals. They want him as the nominee. He is weak kneed when it matters so he is essentially on their side. If he happens to win, which he will not. They (rusha) knows I will not vote for him.

The Democrats if he is the nominee.

As of today, there are 838 delegates left. If he pulled a Saddam Hussein and could get by some magic powers 100% of the remaining votes, he will still be short of the 1237 needed.

If there is no majority on either the 1st 2nd or 3rd balloting, then the RNC can choose whoever they want.

You mean - George Bush - à la '00 election.

Not even close. Bush won the electoral college. The contested votes were counted according to law as determined by the courts. Even after that, Bush won in Florida after all votes were counted again in a consistent fashion and in full view of opponents.

George Bush got 100% of the votes? Then why did Gore want to recount only 4 counties (democrat counties)? He should have recounted (3rd time?) all of the state if Bush claims he won 100%.

No matter who did the counting, Bush beat Gore in Florida.

According to a massive months-long study commissioned by eight news organizations in 2001, George W. Bush probably still would have won even if the U.S. Supreme Court had allowed a limited statewide recount to go forward as ordered by Florida’s highest court.

Bush also probably would have won had the state conducted the limited recount of only four heavily Democratic counties that Al Gore asked for, the study found.

You like liberal website factcheck.org's liberal interjection? "Probably" He got more votes, no probably about it.
