Justification by Faith Alone, Christ Alone

We are justified by faith alone because we are justified by Christ alone. Faith does not justify. Faith is what makes what Christ has accomplished for us in the Gospel ours. Jesus is the justifier. It is the work of Jesus that justifies us and makes us right with God.

"To declare, I say, at this time HIS righteousness: that he might be just, and THE JUSTIFIER of him that believes in Jesus" Romans 3:26.

No one will be saved that has not been justified by the doing and the dying of Jesus.
Calvinism will not save you, nor will good works (Catholicism) save you. God must see us as perfect and complete "In Christ" Justified, means to be MADE right with God.

Paul wrote,"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ" Romans 5:1.

We have peace with God because this is God's way of justifying sinners. He doesn't justify sinners by predestination, nor does he justify sinners by the works or obedience of the law. He justifies sinners by Jesus Christ. It is Jesus acting in our name and on our behalf that justies us and makes us righteous in God's eyes.

"For what does the scripture say ? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness" Romans 4:3.

What did Abraham believe about God? Abraham believed that God would keep his promise and provide him with a savior. In the Old Testament they were justified by faith in God's promise of a savior. They looked forward to seeing the savior, many never did see the savior because they died, Hebrews 11:39. Nevertheless, they died in the faith and were justified. Today, we look back to when Jesus was here. We have a New Testament that is a witness to Jesus Christ and his Gospel. All that believe and have faith in the doing and the dying of Jesus are justified by faith.

Saving faith is always faith in Jesus Christ. It is not faith in a doctrine, a church or a religion. It is faith that Jesus and Jesus alone is able to save us from our sins. It is also faith that Jesus was able to atone for our sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 4:14. Saving faith is a faith that believes Jesus is Lord. Jesus said, "Unless you believe that I am he (Lord or God) you will die in your sins" John 8:24. A man cannot save us, only God can save us.

Jesus Christ and his Gospel is the heart and the center of the New Testament. It is our faith in Christ and his Gospel that makes the Gospel ours. In the Gospel we identify with Jesus. We can say with all certainty that when Jesus lived, we lived in him. When Jesus died, we died with him, Romans 6:3. When Jesus arose from the dead, we arose with him, Romans 6:4. When Jesus ascended into heaven, we ascended with him. When Jesus appears we will appear with him, Colossians 3:4. In the light of these truths who needs religion?

The answer is no one needs religion.

All religions are false. Catholicism is the mother of all religions and Judaism is the father of all religions. Out of these two have come all of the religions of the world.

There is a true church, the invisible church. There is no building or paid staff. Its members are blood bought children of God.
