He could had gone
Down and not do so.
Despite the hurt and
Pain plus the mocking.
That He was facing
Already from others and the soldiers.

As Jesus knew that
He needed to fulfill the word
Of the Lord God the Father.
In order for us
To be saved by Him.
Would be the way of the Cross.

 

[JPPT1974]

As Jesus had to remember that
He suffered for us.
And would pave the way.
For us past, present, and future
As the Savior and Lord.
