We realize that some
People will not be
Having the holidays.
Like we are
Meaning they are less fortunate.

My sister and her family
Last year helped out families
Picking out gifts.
And that they can
Only have one gift.
For the holidays.

One gift and that
Is it and that.
It is so pitiful.
How less fortunate that
Families like those
Are not and people
Like us are!
