The first Christians who had the New Testament writings were called Judaizing Christians. The Popes killed the Judaizing Christians and burned the original scriptures, afterward they made their own Gnostic versions of those scriptures; adding Pagan notions they introduced them to the people.

Well, I see the mummy, but nothing about the actual texts they say were found with him. I'm not saying the texts do not exist but hoping the writings will one day see the light of day, (that is an idiom for, "be shared with the public", :)).

The proclamation of the "two swords doctrine" and the absolute neccessity of "every human creature" being subject to the pope of Rome for salvation made in Unam Sanctum were not new claims, but were the result of a group of fraudlent, forgeries that contained "decrees", that while were completely fraudlent deceptions, formed the foundational basis for the radical reconstruction of the constitution of the church of Rome and the development of the Roman papacy and the Roman church from the 8th and 9th centuries onward.

The first, "The Donation of Constantine" appeared in the 8th century during a period when Rome was involved in disputes with the Carolingians kings of France.

The "Donation of Constantine" is a well-known fraud used by the papacy for more than 10 centuries to strengthen its position and power. Though it claims to have been granted by Constantine to Sylvester, bishop of Rome in the 4th century, it was actually written sometime in the mid-8th century.

The "Donation" contained a "decree", a fraudulent decree, made to appear to be granted by Constantine, the Emperor of the Roman Empire in the 4th century, dominion and supreme rulership of both the Church and the kingdoms of the world, which was asserted by Boniface VII in Unam Sanctum:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]I together with all our satraps and the whole senate and the nobles and all the Roman people, who are subject to the glory of our rule—considered it advisable that, as on earth he (Peter) is seen to have been constituted vicar of the Son of God, so the pontiffs, who are the representatives of that same chief of the apostles, should obtain from us and our empire the power of a supremacy greater than the earthly clemency of our imperial serenity is seen to have had conceded to it,—we choosing that same prince of the apostles, or his vicars, to be our constant intercessors with God. [FONT=&quot]The last line, "we giving to it the imperial power, and dignity of glory, and vigour and honour", was a fraudulent deception that deceptively "decreed" that the Roman pope was the holder of "the imperial power" in the western part of the Empire, and of the kingdoms of the whole world, after Constantine had moved the capital of the Empire from Rome to Constantinople, and fraudulently made it appear to be legitimate from antiquity. But the entire "decree" was a deceptive fraud, containing no truth whatsoever.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

In addition, the "Donation", futhermore fraudulently presented Roman papal supremacy over the whole Church, making the popes of Rome Emperors of the whole world, when the Church had never recognized the claims of dominion Rome had asserted, and is antithetical to Christ's infallible proclamation, "My kingdom is not of this world", as well as Paul's infallible teaching of Romans 13:[/FONT]

For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Those claims as well as being in direct opposition to the teaching of Jesus, Paul and the Apostles, and advanced by Augustine in his work,"The City of God", in which Augustine follows Jesus, Paul and the Apostolic Tradition recorded and preserved in the Holy Scriptures of there being two "cities", the "city of man" and the "City of God", with the two being eternally distinct, and whereby the Church represents the "City of God", and civil governments representing the "city of man", of whom Paul directs Romans 13 toward.

But in the coronation of the pope's of Rome when they still crowned the pope with the "tiara" the following words being recited: [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]“Receive the tiara adorned with three crowns and know that thou art Father of princes and kings, Ruler of the world, Vicar of our Savior Jesus Christ.”[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]If this phraseology had not been instituted by long usage, being decreed in the "Donation" and "Pseudo-Isidorian Decretals" it would not have been used by subsequent generations in to express the supreme rulership of popes over the ecclessial, political and social systems.


Therefore we have the pope's of Rome claiming to be Emperor of the world and the Church, doing so illegitimately by the deception of fraudulent forgeries.

Philip Schaff, whom Trento is fond of citing when thinking, mistakenly, that Schaff promotes a "pro-Roman papacy" position, describes the "Donation" in this way: [/FONT]

It affirms that Constantine, when he was baptized by pope Sylvester, a.d. 324 (he was not baptized till 337, by the Arian bishop Eusebius of Nicomedia), presented him with the Lateran palace and all imperial insignia, together with the Roman and Italian territory. The object of this forgery was to antedate by five centuries the temporal power of the papacy, which rests on the donations of Pepin and Charlemagne. The only foundation in fact is the donation of the Lateran palace, which was originally the palace of the Lateran family, then of the emperors, and last of the popes. The wife of Constantine, Fausta, resided in it, and on the transfer of the seat of empire to Constantinople, he left it to Sylvester, as the chief of the Roman clergy and nobility. Hence it contains to this day the pontifical throne with the inscription: "Haec est papalis sedes et pontificalis." There the pope takes possession of the see of Rome. But the whole history of Constantine and his successors shows conclusively that they had no idea of transferring any part of their temporal sovereignty to the Roman pontiff.

[FONT=&quot]For centuries the deception of the "Donation" did it's fraudlent magic, being assumed by all to be genuine, deceiving even the likes of Thomas Aquinas and many, many others, and was used by the popes of Rome to support their papal claims.

It was proven to be the fraud that it is in 1440 by Lorenzo Valla in his work, "Declamatio".

Nevertheless, on the basis of the forged document, the papacy maintained a spiritual dictatorship over most of the Church until the Reformation, and a temporal control of the papal states until, finally, in 1870, the last of the territory was taken over by Italy.


Within the fraudulent "Donation of Constantine" we have the groundwork laid, which Rome seized upon, to assert it's claims made since the "Donation" appeared, and are further advanced in Unam Sanctum thusly:[/FONT]

This is the tunic of the Lord, the seamless tunic, which was not rent but which was cast by lot [Jn 19:23-24]. Therefore, of the one and only Church there is one body and one head, not two heads like a monster; that is, Christ and the Vicar of Christ, Peter and the successor of Peter, since the Lord speaking to Peter Himself said: 'Feed my sheep' [Jn 21:17], meaning, my sheep in general, not these, nor those in particular, whence we understand that He entrusted all to him [Peter]. Therefore, if the Greeks or others should say that they are not confided to Peter and to his successors, they must confess not being the sheep of Christ, since Our Lord says in John 'there is one sheepfold and one shepherd.' We are informed by the texts of the gospels that in this Church and in its power are two swords; namely, the spiritual and the temporal. For when the Apostles say: 'Behold, here are two swords' [Lk 22:38] that is to say, in the Church, since the Apostles were speaking, the Lord did not reply that there were too many, but sufficient. Certainly the one who denies that the temporal sword is in the power of Peter has not listened well to the word of the Lord commanding: 'Put up thy sword into thy scabbard' [Mt 26:52]. Both, therefore, are in the power of the Church, that is to say, the spiritual and the material sword, but the former is to be administered _for_ the Church but the latter by the Church; the former in the hands of the priest; the latter by the hands of kings and soldiers, but at the will and sufferance of the priest.
However, one sword ought to be subordinated to the other and temporal authority, subjected to spiritual power. For since the Apostle said: 'There is no power except from God and the things that are, are ordained of God' [Rom 13:1-2], but they would not be ordained if one sword were not subordinated to the other and if the inferior one, as it were, were not led upwards by the other.


For, according to the Blessed Dionysius, it is a law of the divinity that the lowest things reach the highest place by intermediaries. Then, according to the order of the universe, all things are not led back to order equally and immediately, but the lowest by the intermediary, and the inferior by the superior. Hence we must recognize the more clearly that spiritual power surpasses in dignity and in nobility any temporal power whatever, as spiritual things surpass the temporal. This we see very clearly also by the payment, benediction, and consecration of the tithes, but the acceptance of power itself and by the government even of things. For with truth as our witness, it belongs to spiritual power to establish the terrestrial power and to pass judgement if it has not been good. Thus is accomplished the prophecy of Jeremias concerning the Church and the ecclesiastical power: 'Behold to-day I have placed you over nations, and over kingdoms' and the rest.[/FONT]

Ever since the forgeries appeared, Rome has read the "decrees" of those forgeries back into the Scripture, twisting the Scriptures by back engineering the decrees of the forgeries into the Scriptures where they do not exist and are contrary to the meanings of the Scriptures and the declarations of God contained therein.

Prior to Unam Sanctum, were the Gregorian Reforms, which were based on the decrees of the "Donation of Constantine" and "Pseudo-Isidorian Decretals", of which Philip Schaff says:[/FONT]

It is the absolute sovereignty of the Church in this world, commanding respect and obedience by her moral purity and ascetic piety. By the Church is meant the Roman Catholic organization headed by the pope as the vicar of Christ; and this hierarchical organization is identified with the Kingdom of God, in which men are saved from sin and death, and outside of which there is no ordinary salvation. No distinction is made between the Church and the Kingdom, nor between the visible and invisible Church. The Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, Roman Church has been to popes as visible and tangible as the German Empire, or the Kingdom of France, or the Republic of Venice. Besides this Church no other is recognized, not even the Greek, except as a schismatic branch of the Roman.
This ideal is the growth of ages. It was prepared for by pseudo-Isidor in the ninth century.

The pseudo-Isidorian Decretals went further: they identified the Catholic Church with the dominion of the papal hierarchy, and by a series of literary fictions carried this system back to the second century; notwithstanding the fact that the Oriental Church never recognized the claims of the bishops of Rome beyond that of a mere primacy of honor among equal patriarchs.[/FONT]

Thus we have the foundation laid and the basis set for the astounding papal claims of Rome, which were to follow, and that basis and foundation being the deception of fraudulent forgeries.
