We have all sinned. God's forgiveness is found in Jesus Christ who died for you.

Romans 3:23 NASB

Romans 6:23 NASB

The free gift of God is eternal life. Repent and believe the gospel to be saved.

Forgiveness is found in no one else. Read the Bible, ask a friend, or ask a question here. Please comment with scripture or not in how you agree. If you do not understand the gospel you can ask about it.

"Jesus died for the forgiveness of your sins" is not correct. You will not find that statement in the Bible.

Jesus died on the cross to abolish sin, death and the devil so that "Whosoever that shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" Romans 10:13.

When Jesus died the whole human race died with him, Romans 6:6. This is why Paul said, "I have been crucified with Christ" Galatians 2:20.

Our sins are forgiven because sin has been abolished.

Believers are forgiven their sins on account of what Christ has done in dying for them.

Matthew 26:28 NASB - 28 for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

Mark 1:4 NASB - 4 John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

Luke 3:3 NASB - 3 And he came into all the district around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins;

Luke 24:47 NASB - 47 and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

Acts 5:31 NASB - 31 "He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 10:43 NASB - 43 "Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

Acts 13:38 NASB - 38 "Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

Acts 26:18 NASB - 18 to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.'

Colossians 1:14 NASB - 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Are you sure? I understand what your saying. But he also died for the forgiveness of our sin. Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

Hebrews 9:22 King James Version (KJV)

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

1 John 2:2 King James Version (KJV)

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John 4:10 King James Version (KJV)

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Yes. Either because death is the consequence of sin since Adam and Eve, or on account of the law in accordance with courts.

Ok, so that means a sinner owes a life to God to account for his sin. There are two options to pay for that debt. We can ask God to charge that sin to his Son or the other option is for the sinner to pay the debt himself. Either way the debt must be satisfied and the debt zeroed by a life.

My experience has been that not all people petition God to charge their sin to Jesus, so they end up paying the debt themselves.

The blood of the Lamb saves the life of the firstborn just as lamb's blood did in Egypt. Only the firstborn were in jeopardy. That's still true today.

We only live twice.

How many lives did Paul live?
One life. We only have until the time when we die to be born again.

to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
