When Jesus gave His parables, He kept asking, “Do you understand?”
Yes, it is most critical at this late hour that we understand His parables!
Let us look closely at one of them …
Matthew 13:24-30 (AMP, 2015 edition) --- Jesus’ Parable of the Wheat and Weeds
24 The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
25 But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel
(weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way.
26 So when the plants sprouted and formed grain, the darnel (weeds) appeared also.
27 And the servants of the owner came to him and said,
Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? Then how does it have darnel shoots in it?
28 He replied to them, An enemy has done this.
The servants said to him, Then do you want us to go and weed them out?
29 But he said, No, lest in gathering the wild wheat (weeds resembling wheat),
you root up the [true] wheat along with it.
30 Let them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will say to the reapers,
Gather the darnel first and bind it in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my granary.

Matthew 13:37-43 (NLT) --- Jesus’ Explanation of His Parable of the Wheat and Weeds
37 The Son of Man is the farmer who plants the good seed.
38 The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom.
The weeds are the people who belong to the evil one.
39 The enemy who planted the weeds among the wheat is the devil.
The harvest is the end of the world, and the harvesters are the angels.
40 Just as the weeds are sorted out and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the world.
41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom
everything that causes sin and all who do evil.
42 And the angels will throw them into the fiery furnace,
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom.
Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!

41 “they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness”
••• The Amplified Bible (2015 edition) states the underlined above like this:
39 “The harvest is the close and consummation of the age”
41 “they will gather out of His kingdom all causes of offense
[persons by whom others are drawn into error or sin] and all who do iniquity and act wickedly”
43 “Let him who has ears [to hear] be listening,
and let him consider and perceive and understand by hearing.”
Above we see Jesus saying: Satan plants false believers into God’s Kingdom,
who will be thrown out of His Kingdom into the eternal fire, and these are:
• those who cause sin
• those do evil
• those who cause offense
• those who draw others into error (doctrinal errors?)
• those who draw others into sin
• those who do iniquity
• those who act wickedly
Please note: Jesus’ dire warnings about SIN are carried on by Paul and the other NT epistle writers!
“Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires.
… Instead, gives yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life.
… Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey?
You can be a slave to sin, which leads to (eternal) death, or you can choose to obey God,
which leads to righteous living. … Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living
so that you will become holy.” (Romans 6:12-19, NLT)
••• “new life” – “born from above” believers (with a new nature and the indwelling Holy Spirit) are
no longer slaves of sin; they no longer have to sin; now they are able to choose to sin or not to sin!
