UN Security Council to vote on Resolution Against Israeli Settlements
The United Nations Security Council will vote on a resolution demanding an end to illegal Israeli settlements in New York City on Friday, December 23, 2016. The vote comes after a request was put forward by New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal, while US President-Elect Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu requested the US to veto the resolution.
