Is TOL slow for you too?

Lately the response time on TOL has ground almost to a halt on my computer. I'm not experiencing problems with any other site I visit.

Adblock is your friend. Which version you get depends upon which browser you use and friends don't let friends use Bill Gates products as those in the know know that he may well be the anti-Christ ... that and most of the internet VD is designed to attack his offal.

Maybe Knight needs to unplug it for awhile, let it cool off...like we used to do with our Atari in 1982.

That is a problem of people (like Microsoft) fixing things that are not broken. I don't have trouble here, it is better than most sites, especially since "TOL lite" became the standard.

3rd party sites can sometimes slow the site down.

It may be time to update the forum software. Advances in the internet have forced this change on other forums to prevent damage from spambots etc. Of course that takes money. I am happy enough as it is, and just deal with the occasional crashes.
